Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Keeps talking about it. I am about due to go up there. I want to be there when the wall comes down and look for motors for sure.
I could use one piece for the Neon. I bought rocker panel skin, but passenger side needs the dog leg where it turns up in front of the wheel. I could just bend a piece, but would be nice to cut it out of another car. I'm not sure if Baughmans will let you cut anything. Maybe right before they crush it...

Morning all, quick trip around the patch, then load the fish for the trip east. Second cup of coffee going down good.

He had a bunch. Last trip up I got stuff for Dad's Neon. That was a first generation type. Mine is 2nd gen., but I know there were some there. There are actually 3rd gen Neons made since 2016. Just not available in US.

I am jammed up on Saturday or I would go up. Community clean up day. Have a bunch of crap paint and tires to get rid of.

Bee a good week to go up there in a few days when it dries out.
I'd take a day off work for it, but of course they want 2 week advance schedule. Never know what weather will do 2 weeks out. Might be able to get it in for last week of month and ask boss not to put it in till last minute so I can switch the day if needed.

I went up there once when it was wet. Sucked for sure. I can use a distrib for the truck to curve. 88 is a bit different then what I have pick up wise.

I'd be lucky to find that piece with his cars sitting so low without wheels. If not rusted, might be a pain to get at it to cut the thing clean.

I do want to start those rocker repairs before long. Mae is going to her sisters in Florida soon. Probably beginning of June, for a week or 2. I won't cut anything off mine till she gets back so I have her car available and not rushing to slam it back together.

Let me know when, I can meet you up there. I still have those plugs for you and can use that grinder more and more.

That lenox wheel is incredible been using it almost a year and still cuts like new. I want to get a few more at Carlisle if I can find them. Fastenal has them around $20 but have seen them for less last year before I knew about them. I easily would have used over thirty normal cut off wheels by now.
