yea the van is a no go .....it's cute and clean but the guy wont budge on the price and right now it doesn't run because the U-joint is beyond worn and tore up the yoke so it needs towing. The 318 sounds smooth tho.

I had to come back and change before going out to eat because I crawled under the van to see the driveshaft and got muddy and weeds in my hair and got all messed up. But at least I am not guessing now, I saw the driveshaft problem up close and I clearly see the problem.

now to change and comb my hair out again and off to burger bliss.

if the seller of the van lowers the price just a bit we may have a deal but I am going to wait him out. The van is not advertised as of now and its just sitting and he knows my offer so we shall see what happens.

Thanks! I've been pursuing this project for more than 4 years and it's finally coming together.

I even went so far as to mock it up in poster board and foam core a few years ago...

I have the fenders, tails and rear spoiler. The nose is still being completed. That FB post was from today. Based on how things have gone so far, I expect it here just in time for Spring weather.
