I like the 68 Barracuda dash with the shelf for my junk.... :farao:

the dart dash has the same shelf, the lower pads are the same in either dart or barracuda and even the valiant is the same. I actually kept the original ones from the dart and they bolted right up to the barracuda dash frame.

Kinda upsets me when my friends ride with me and would put stuff on there and act like it could hold a hundred pounds.

There's no battery in this one, just three position switch, three resistors, and the leads for the wires...

You are supposed to use the car system to provide the "power" when you test with it...

I have pictures of the insides in my post in the electrical section...

I haven't been able to check on it yet as I'm trying to keep up in this thread.... :banghead:

When you get it figured out send it to me bet you can make it work with a 9v. I could figure it out once I know the resistance. Maybe make it variable?

Thank you Karl,

Im glad they are working out well for you. I figured I would make them extra long for you so you actually have some wire to work with.

Good thing that you did... I made the main wire from the hot terminal from the alternator ALMOST too short, but your pigtail was able to reach it...

When is Carlisle this year off the top of your head. I am just to lazy to google it.

Mitch, when do you think the GTS will be on the road? Be funn to do a cruse one day together.

That would be a great thing to build, sure it would not be that hard. Just 12v and a load inside to make variable voltage?

Del had a thread a while back asking about interest in them if he could make some...

Maybe he can get it figured out and make them available for others to have and test their gauges with...I want to keep mine, as it's the only one that I have, but I would also like others to be able to test their parts also.... Now that we have one available to figure out.. #-o

Rani, Gonna pull the dash and heater box and wiper transmission out next , after I rebuild the column. I think that dash shelf is pretty cool to. My dash pads are Perfect

Know what would be cool to make it to plug into the firewall connector and run the gauges from there and also make it able to do them while out also. HMMMM

I'd love to have one !!!

Depend if your snow blower is broken 3-6 if it works 1-3!

I actually have two snow blowers..

I bought an identical one to mine for mom, then took it back after she died... Them things ain't cheap.... :farao:

I have it sitting in my enclosed porch... but it hasn't been started in two years... Maybe I should give it a try sometime to be sure... :color:

It would suck if my plan B fell through.... I don't have a plan C....

Darn Karl you got me thinking now, Use a potentiometer with markings for each gauge and the value so it could be all makes!

If you look at the end of page 1 and start of page 2, we're getting the resistors figures out...
