Stop in for a cup of coffee

oh yea, it's got the "hooks" on the end - I was thinking it would be fairly easy to make - even with the hooks, I think it wouldn't be too bad - - then again, why bother - someone here probably has one or they are on FLEABay..

We have a designates spot for unloading the used beer! There usually is a lot of consumption working out there with Ron who is retired and lives next door.

Shipping kills it there. Prob $6 for a small padded envelope.

I know I have that if you need it. Know how it aligns with the gear?

I don't, actually, but I'm used to running into trouble where I'm not expecting it.

I'm getting a slip yoke from Don and I suspect he might have one of these laying around also. I'll ask him first. That'll save me one shipping fee. Thank you for the offer, though.

It has markings on the gear housing for the differenmt ratios. You just put thee one you need in the down position so it hits the drive gear in the trans. Let me find a pic it is easy as heck.

I just shipped a speed cable to the UK for a member. Weight was 1lb 4oz. It cost $27 bucks if I remember right.

Yeah, you really need to cram as much stuff as you can into a box to make it worth flying it over the puddle.

Things can be silly expensive over here, though.

But I just scored a Mopar Performance air cleaner, though. $60 plus domestic shipping, grand total of $80 or so.

Usually, you just stick in in there and turn it clockwise until you feel it against the worm gear. Then line up the nearest number and lock it down. Don't forget a new O ring on the housing.

Shipped from where?

I've seen the markings on the housing and figured that was it. Didn't know which way the markings were supposed to point, though.

I guess I can just insert it and turn it around?

There you go. That was my plan.

Will order a new O-ring. Need one for the dip stick tube, too. Leaks.

Check the seals where the shifter and kick down leaver are when you are under there. They stink to change in the car but if they are leaking you want to do it now.

That seems to be a lot shipped here we could sent it in country for about half that.

Great tip. Thanks.

The trans is freshly re-built but I have no idea if the seals were changed.

I'm going to remove the engine soon, probably the trans too, so I could change them out then if necessary.

After talking to Ulf in Tavelsjö I was completely convinced to lower the engine and K-frame in stead of lifting the engine out.

I'm sure that's true. I think the diameter of that sucker makes it that expensive. There are flat rate boxes but I'm not sure it fits in one of those.
