Stop in for a cup of coffee

Didnt start on my gmc. Did order the parts, and then proceeded to work on some panels for the fargo. Access covers for the doors. Really rough. So rubberized undercoating first. Then red.
And 2 filler panels between floor abd running boards. They got cleaned up.
I did get 1/2 my floor clean as well as my work bench.

Found the video, see which weatherstrips go where. Dam adhesive gets everywhere though. And it eats paint. Great.
Will have to wait for door jambs to cure a little more before i attempt to put seals in place. May hit them with the heat gun, get em good and baked on.

Almost time to roll out to work again. Got the garage door sensor brackets to work using part of the old bracket and a slight modification to the new ones. Ran new wires. Did basic setup. Door functions. Still need to get it to sit down straight. Springs are adjusted about as good as they are going to get. Hits center first and then usual tips to the right leaving a big opening under it on the left. Planning to remove the seal and shim both sides under a new seal.

It's a special day today for the family in Guatemala. My wifes grandfather turned 100 years old today.

A little clarification needed. There was no '68 Valiant Hardtop model, correct? Only 2 and 4 door Sedan?
68 was also the last year for a dart 2 door sedan. The next year the swinger made a debut and replaced the 2 door sedan as low trim level although the swinger was a 2 door hardtop

Looked like Darts were the leaders in the Hardtop division at the time. I was curious because a '68 Valiant has my attention for this 5 minutes in Covid Land anyway. It has no headliner and I was checking Classic Industries.

The 3.0 L GM diesels are really quiet. Wingman just brought the new L71 Silverado over for inspection. More doo-dads than you can shake a stick at and he hasn't found 20% of them yet . I do like the de-chromed look of it.

Checking in can’t seem to be able to fall asleep tonight so just decided to stay up for vital check and they’re here. Go figure. Doing better maybe out of here tomorrow. Hope so.
