Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
decaf doesn't compute to me - kinda like near-beer... huh? why?
I usually only do a couple cups all day. (And I don't mean the bucket size cup at the convenience store). 8-10oz mug or smaller. More than that and I try to go to decaf. Recently does not affect me as much as it did for a while. I can do up to 3 cups and maybe 3PM and still be snoozin by 9. After5 or 6PM and I would be ready to go to sleep when my alarm tells me otherwise.

I was on decaf for a while to help get the BP down, really had to make it strong to like it.

Maybe sometime when things settle down for me, I can print up some "coffee shop" labels and have my local coffee guy roast and blend us up a batch of java. I can send some out to you guys and see what you think. His stuff isn't cheap $8/lb. but it's good stuff. My neighbor and I did that for a while. I sold it on my tool truck. The neighbor and his tattoo artist came up with a "Island Goat" logo. Pics to follow.

My youngest works his first day of his first real job today. He is working for a customer of mine. He will clean the shop, wash and deliver customer cars and help out as needed. Tony will be a good boss and I hope it works out well for both of them.

Good for him...

Good thing I didn't. The phone rang on the way back (we passed without remarks, btw) the phone rang. Daycare. Sofia had a tummy ache. Went to pick her up and we made it home and all the way to the toilet JUST in time before she barfed.

Wo-hoo ... :occasion::puke:

That was a close call... #-o

I'll pull the alternator back off, I just ran out of things to putz with that afternoon and decided to mock it up and look at everything closer.

I would stick with the Goodyear belt, Kimmer commented about the cogs on it, they are fine...

I have preferred Goodyear and Gates belts over the rest for years. Look at how many layers of "rope" that are in there. Each layer adds strength... If you compare the Goodyear and Gates have a good amount of rope compared to some of the others...

Dayco bents and hoses are 3rd on my list...

I could run a Goodyear or Gates belt for 5-7 years on a daily driver, where a generic belt will only last 2 - 3 years.... It's cheaper to buy one of the quality belts than two of the cheapo's in the long run... :glasses7:

Good morning all! First cup going down still dark here on the left coast. Lights of Seattle look pretty cool. But I'd rather be out in the open where the green stuff grows.

Nothing much to do today just a couple of doctor appointment and maybe get some platlets infused this afternoon. Depends on my lab results.

Hi Stan.

I hope things go well... :D

that's crazy bud - just not good for you - -

Not near as bad as the cigs, and riding the scooter with no helmet and eating bacon with every meal and having unprotected sex with tattoo'd Haitian ****** addicted prostitutes.. But my blood pressure stays nice and low, my cholesterol numbers are all in check, I (like most people) just need to exercise a bit more..
