Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
I never could figure out when to make the jump from one to the other.. i just started putting a shot of bourbon in my coffee so i could feel right at home in either thread...

LOL Multi-tasking wizard is what you are! Stop on over any time. I've never tried Bourbon in my coffee. I would be afraid it would become a habit. LOL The pecan in coffee might be good. I might have to try that.

I only drank one time in my life and NEVER again .......

If someone is going to drink they should research and know what they are drinking before.

My uncle wanted to celebrate my birthday so he gave me a tiny glass of some clear stuff. So I thought....what harm could a little tiny amount in a shot glass do......

I didn't know what it was but I figured it's safe coming from my uncle who has never done me wrong before.

I didn't last very long and I remember waking up momentarily to see my uncle getting yelled at by my aunt his wife "how could you do that to her!"

he thought it was funny but I thought I was going to die.

And there is the problem. Sounds like you started with a shot of shine or some other variety of rocket fuel. Of course your first experience was negative. Paint thinner might have gone down easier. Lol
There are so many kinds of alchohlic drinks. And they certainly dont all smell or taste bad or even anything alike. Many smell and taste (too) much like soft drinks. I would suggest you try a slightly sweet wine, or mixed drink.

I went to a wedding a couple weeks back. Alcohol free reception. They had a great coffee bar tho. I, of course, had my flask in my suit pocket. Turns out, bourbon in flavored coffee is quite tasty. Wasn't long before my son's girl, two of her friends, 2 bridemaids and one real cute little mousey brunette were hanging out with ol' Ben... had to refill the flask a couple of times! A good, safe time was had by all.. and i have some new friends!

I got to where a good bourbon with a splash of water is perfect for me.. i do still enjoy a sweet beverage now and then, just be very careful, the sweet ones will sneak up on you in a hurry..

We brought back quite a few cases and also a lot of Don Q rum, surprised the plane took off.

My dad used to say water, burp it up. Soda chuck it up.
