gettin' ready for Easter...
A small, small mouth bass probably spawned last fall.
Well a catch is always fun, even if it turns out to be a little on the small side.
That is so cool. How is the water level in your pond, Ray?
Been lurking here at the coffee shop, bracing for a long Easter weekend, we are open Sunday. Lot's o' families...kids...you can see the sticker shock, but if you want 12 miles of beach and sand dunes, with no high-rises, 5 golf courses, tennis, kayaking, 32 miles of bike trails, a security gate, etc.,...ya gotta pay!
We were supposed to have a deviled egg contest at work. Kind of a throw-down between the chefs and anyone else. But the chefs flaked out. Last year we did it for charity and I won. I'm still going to make mine, for a snack while we work on Easter. "Greek Salad Deviled Eggs." This is what happens when you don't have a Mopar, you get an idea and a few hours of messing around in the kitchen.
That sounds like a plan deviled eggs! The pond is doing ok so far but it usually drops by August. I was surprised how many small bass are there this year they are everywhere you look, but there are the parents somewhere also!
Do you get predators stopping by your pond for fish dinners?
Blue herons and the occasional raccoon and once in a while a bear. Deer all the time drinking the water.
I slept in this morning. Cold keeps coming in and out. I had to miss class yesterday as I keep burning the candle at both ends and was exhausted by 6 PM and the coughing and fever came back...
Took a 3-4 hour nap and felt a little better, then by 3 AM back to the cold agony again...
We are going back to see if we can get the brake problem fixed and drive the kid's (new) 68 Valiant more door home today...

I did see it - saw the price and didn't bother reading the ad.. IF it is a #'s matching car, it is rare - I'm pretty sure they didn't come through with the 8.75 much at all. Of course they have screwed to pooch too - radiator, air cleaner, exhaust are all wrong.. she's no survivor at this point.. just a nice example of a Scamp.. have you decoded the tag?
They may match but it's too far from survivor status. Yeah 318 car, Butterscotch/Black/Black with AM radio. Canadian built for Canada market.

sounds like you do what I do - every few days I jump onto EBay and go looking to what's new - I start with Scamps, then Darts, then Dusters.. so on and so forth..
