So I got creative. Took a scrap piece of paneling I’d laying around transfered my trace to it, sandwiched the plexiglass between the paneling and boom, worked great. Pics to follow

The news report I just read did say that Deputies have retained a suspect. Hollister Ranch where the 75 acres is burning at one time was an old Spanish land grant. 98% chaparal country, it is subdivided now if you consider numerous 1000 acre ranchettes a subdivision . Roughass country with limited access. Fire is not spreading very fast and the winds are fairly calm. No wind breaks out there, it's all right on the coast.

I watched a guy bounce his '64 Impaler right on to a fire hydrant on Van Nuys Blvd one Wednesday night
I didn't wait around to see the tow truck attempt to get it back on the ground

A lot of progress today. Still fighting the left torsion bar. The LCA shaft is so rusted up that when I backed off the adjusting bolt, nothing moved. Hopefully get it free tomorrow then right side disassembly and prep the new K with bushings and steering gear.
