Stop in for a cup of coffee

It looks like today is the day to go grocery shopping for the week. Tomorrow is supposed to get crappy with freezing rain. "A wintery mix" sucks!

Guess who is smack dab in the middle of it. :mob: I hope they miss the forecast like they usually do.

It would be interesting to taste that stuff. It might not be good because it spent so much time in the barrel. It will get over oaked under normal conditions. Scotch is often matured for a decade or more but those barrels are often in cold cellars or underground storage. There aren't any temperature swings like Kentucky Bourbon gets. That causes the alcohol to go in and out of the wood pulling out the flavors.

I was thinking the perhaps the depth of the wreck and cold temps of the lake might have had an interesting effect on the aging. I've seen some recovered Scotch that did well....

It would be interesting to find out. No need to bottle all of it in 750ml. bottles. Bottle some of it in 200ml. sample bottles so more people can afford to try and collect it. It's kind of like that Blue Note Juke Joint whiskey I just got yesterday. It came from barrels that survived a rickhouse collapse back in 2019. I remember hearing about that and wondered if there were any survivor barrels. Well there was and I now have a bottle of the stuff.

Well I'm back. Quick in and out. Come on Karl.
Anyway, after I had my surgery they only cut a suture that they had hooked a stretching mechanism to.
I pointed it out to the urologist on my follow up. Well it will probably dissolve. You can check when you see the hydraulics Doc.
So that was today's follow up.
He sends in the B team.
Oh it looks like a scab. Seriously!
I never saw a scab that looks like cat whiskers.
anyway he finally agreed nothing to numb the area just grab and pull.again Karl.
Came home. Took two perks. Seems to have taken the edge off.

I should do the same. We probably won't see the sun again until Sunday. That NWS weather map is sure colorful today. Everything from "blizzard warning" to "red flag warning", Yeah the Texas/Oklahoma Panhandle is sposed to catch fire today :realcrazy:
