Mind of a 20 year old!
even at 20 I would have considered 'donks' stooped.

Hey guys, This is the slickest tool I have seen in a long time. Everybody needs and can afford one! 3.5/1.5M 5.5mm Android Endoscope Waterproof Borescope Inspection Camera 6 LED
Those are the ones we were talkin about a few months ago. I needed one to look at cam bearings. I bought one then. Could not believe A. How Inexpensive and B that there was anything like that available. I was shocked. Mine works great, and I've needed it several times already. Must have Tool !!

sadly - it requires one of them new fangled smart phone thingys... not coming to Scamperville anytime soon..

Hoppy, does the Pop have original carpet (or anyone else have one not changed)? I am getting ready to do my new carpet. Not sure how they did it at the gas pedal. Want to cover as much as possible, but not interfere with throttle function. Figured if I could see how original was would be best. I don't remember what the remaining bits looked like on mine cause I took it out a long time ago. I started a thread on this, but not seeing what I need in the pics so far.

Have you been following the FiTech thread? I started to, last time I read it a member was having some troubles with his.
I'm pretty much sold on it after seeing it first hand on a car. Man that case just ran smooth.

Awww, the joys of learning to tune a different style carb all over again
fitech thread?

doesn't the carpet end right at the bottom edge of the pedal bracket?

Yes centered in the floorpan and just below the gas pedal so the rubber hits your heel when driving. Pain in the *** to get right. Then the high beam button is fun also.

Anders - no fuel pump relay on this old scoot - gas tank- fuel line - carburetor - dats it - - there is some sort of "eccentric" in there - (can't remember what the dang thing is actually called at the moment)
No, I figured that. If it doesn't sputter or cough, wouldn't ignition be more likely?

Here's a slick tool to test those relays.View attachment 1714944340
Nice! That relay had a very special socket if IIRC. It had dual coils for some reason. I don't have it any longer.
Hey, is it your birthday today? Happy birthday!

Morning Again Guys.. I'm in and out fixin Food. Hey Chris. When you get a chance check out this Stock on the NYSE ... PRI

It has one big pad under pedals. so your saying that should be over far enough for heel to be on under gas... That will be fun to check with no seet in the car. lol. So, are you saying you replaced yours? I mostly want to see how the front edge is cut under the pedal and steering. If you think yours is right/good get a pic please.
