Morning Karl! Nice projects you got going there.

Thanks. I've been having some trouble as I couldn't stream the tutorials to help me. I would get like 3-10 seconds of video and then literally minutes of buffer... :tool:

I tried resetting the modem and rebooting both the modem and computer. Still slower than old people fornicate... :evil3:

Finally called the cable company last night and asked if my modem needed any updates... They did a few remote updates. :violent1:

Then my son's friend who is a computer geek, helped me on the phone. He stated that he's done speed tests and they are "throttling me"... He would run a test and get 15 mpbs and then run another 30 seconds later and get 7 mbps....

We asked for a manager to call us, and waited and waited... No call... :wack:

But our internet is now running faster.... :D

What I don't get, is if they have new updates for the software in the modem, why don't they automatically update it??? Why do I have to call every 3-4 months when my connection gets slow for them to send the updates to my modem? They know there is an update, so why don't they just install it automatically to keep me running properly? :banghead:

So after getting some updates and then accusing them of throttling me, then they got their **** together....

Gotta love it. My printer just fd up and it will not take anything to print. Still copies, faxes and scans. Tried everything and the IT guy next door confirmed it time to shoot it and put it out of its misery. I am at peak of the rhizome season also and use the paypal business set up to keep track of orders. I am missing a few not having the done button to hit and print out all the packing lists and shipping labels. Really cuts into beer 30!

Toward the sun about a foot high on the average.
How is Memi today?
Almost to early to tell :D Wish I was rigging up my poles for some fishing this morning the way the weather looks this morning, calm and cloudy :glasses7:

Yep. I have to finish my detail drawing for the CAD class, then I can focus on the GD&T class. I have the homework due tomorrow, then a quiz on Wed.

He already gave us our final assignment that I have to complete, then I can go after the extra credit to bring my grade back up. He assigned a few on line tests that we can take and then print out our score for extra credit...

We have to get a 100% on the tests to get the extra credit for them, but can take them as many times as it takes to get them all right... And the Asian kid who sits behind me already has completed them.... so the pressure is on for me to catch up... C'mon, do math... LOL!

spy sunglasses Spy Sunglasses

Our spy sunglasses have a special coating that allows you to look straight ahead and still see what is going on behind you. When you have a pair of our spy sunglasses, you can sit by the pool or in the park and secretly check out the activity behind you.

Our spy sunglasses look just like ordinary, everyday sunglasses and they do function as regular sunglasses as well. They're an excellent way to find out if someone is following you. You can see everything going on behind you without anyone even knowing that you see them there.

In addition to the traditional spy sunglasses, you'll also find some spy sunglasses that have cameras in them. Although you can't see behind you with these camera models, you can record what you are seeing with them. Nobody will even know that you are recording. People will think they're just one of those sunglasses with a radio or MP3 player in them that are so common nowadays.

So here is the scenario....I am a punk sitting at a red light. all at once I am hearing a deep rumble like my exhaust is starting to come apart. Lo and behold this fuzzy old dude pulls up beside in a creamy old four door Dart. He is looking at my ride so I rev it up and my fart can is singing a sweet (to me) tune like bees in a can. All at once I look over and the hood has a bubble rising! What the heck is that I wonder...the rumble gets louder and as the light turns green I let the clutch fly and my tuner screams and my front end slides slightly as the tires are spinning and connecting. The smoke is rolling and I look up in time to see out in front of me twin tail lights with the word "popmobile" and down to the left small numbers 440.....

I am still laughing about this on! I need to put it on the shop wall!

How's it going.

I have been reading the car hunt thread and i am getting ready to do my own version of it and I am starting to think that the second day after Friday is the perfect time to be driving around snooping at people' s old cars in alleys and driveways:farao:

That is a fun thread. I would love to se your version. How is the critter hunt going?

Yea I love that thread. .... only difference is the author of that thread was hunting cars to buy and flip to make a living ..... which is cool but I am going to hunt cars for the thrill of the hunt. .....I probably won't try to buy any of them because I have to many cars now and I am not into the flipping thing because I don't need money. I just want to have fun

I am running late today so I have not checked the barn yet. .....I cleaned up the poo and so far no new poo

Yep, I can... :glasses7:

I can hold my own against anybody in the class. I usually have the right answers in class discussion...

I have had a couple of seminars on GD&T before, but it's hard to retain that much info that is fed to you that fast. Now I'm in a class that goes over it a bit at a time and builds on it, so I'm catching on better this time, but not as well as I wish I could. I want to know it inside out and backwards as some companies have people dedicated to GD&T and they have to review all drawings before they are released to make sure that the tolerances are properly done to the new standards. If you don't carefully call out your tolerances correctly, they can be mis-interpreted and cause problems... I'm a perfectionist and like to do things the right way and properly. I set my standards high, as I strive to be as perfect/good as I can. Some people think that I'm too strict, but I don't hold them to standards that I don't hold myself to. It's because I strive to be perfect and do things right...

Our female instructor for the Inventor class gove me a hard time last week. I keep saying that I need more practice and want to learn the software more. I did get a chance to practice some before the mid-term a week and a half ago. When she handed back the mid-term, she gave me **** because I got 115 points out of 115 possible, and was one of the few people in class to use a "revolve" command (which is a good command when you use it properly). There were a couple of other guys who got 115 points also, Larry the other older guy like me, and another younger kid, Joe who is real good at it also. We all got 115 points on the mid-term. Larry, Joe, and I are the "go to" students in the class and are pretty good at it.

But our instructor doesn't realize that I strive to be perfect and want to know all of the good short cuts and ins-and-outs of the software. I want to be the expert gut that everyone else comes to for help because I know it so well. There is usually more than one way to accomplish something, I want to know them all, and which one is best to use in different situations...

In all of my other CAD classes, I was able to do most of the assignments at least 3 times to get better and find more efficient ways of doing them. I haven't had time to do that in this class as they have so much material to cover and not enough time to do it in. This used to be a full semester class for 4 1/2 hours per class twice a week. Now it's a half semester class for 4 1/2 hours per class twice a week... Not enough time to give the material on one class and have a quick review at the beginning of next class before giving the new material. Not the teacher's fault, but more of an administration issue... :banghead:

Good morning Rainy, another day another way :color:

Good morning .......it might actually rain here. Woke up to very cloudy skies....its beautiful. I love the rain and its not very common here.

That has to be one of very few things I miss about India. ...... the rain is so beautiful. ... it's better than a dream
