The Carlson Brothers!!

Right!!???

For Slapshot fans who aren't familiar with what is thought to be the inspiration...

Johnstown Jets. 1974 -75 Season and the Carlson Brothers

Wikipedia
The characters – Dave, Steve, and Jeff Hanson – were based on real-life siblings Jack, Steve, and Jeff Carlson, who played for the 1974-75 Johnstown Jets in the North American Hockey League. Characters Steve and Jeff Hanson were portrayed by their real-life namesakes, Steve and Jeff Carlson. Jack Carlson was unavailable at the time of filming, so the role of Dave Hanson was portrayed by fellow Johnstown Jets teammate David Hanson. David Hanson was himself the inspiration for another character in the movie, Dave "Killer" Carlson

The wind blew my tarp off of the wood pile then dumped snow, rain and then froze by morning yesterday. I can't even gather the tarp up because it is buried in crap and frozen. I was not very prepared for this winter. Geesh stupid

We have a wood room off the back of our house for firewood... :)

But I don't have firewood in there because it's full of car parts... :realcrazy:

So, I go way to Saigon for 3 weeks and when I got home on Saturday the floors in this place were a mess. The dirt and dust flies in under the doorways from the street since these houses are quite open to the outside. Everywhere I walked my feet were black and if they happened to get wet it really made a mess. So, today I spent most of the day sweeping and mopping floors on three levels. LOL

Black feet matter...

4 Nations hockey penalty minutes

Finland -Sweden - 4 minutes total

Canada -Finland - 2 minutes total

Then there's

USA - Finland - USA 6 min Finland 10 min
USA - Canada - USA 19 min Canada 17 min

Seems like 1-5 miles is typical and up to 20 miles with proper install and antenna set up. 1-2 mile range for every foot of antenna - per google

In the 70's they had 6 foot whip antennas that had a better range than the standard 3 - 4 foot ones...
