Stop in for a cup of coffee

Nothing done on car. Checked why ny ceiling heater kicks off. There is a limit switch in it. 75 degrees f.
Then Dewalt tool storage.
And wanted to check furnace, found a burned out limit switch. Had a spare

My dinner tonight. If they stay down. Tried to eat a hamburger patty the size of a McDonald’s one for lunch, minus the bun, only got half way thru it at the most.

That sucks. :BangHead:
It’s getting better. Slowly.

See part of the surgery, they had to drain out 95 percent of my stomachs acids, those take a very long time to naturally come back. Then there’s the bacteria needed to fully digest stuff.

But on top of that, they have to wrap my stomach around my esophagus. That severely restricts my diet in the short term. 6 months before I can have a steak

So I was flying down the runway this morning. Actually flying down the runway on my motorbike. This is the remains of an old army Air Base runway from the '60s during the War. The city has left it pretty much intact and just paved it over. You can see where the base was built off to one side. At the West end of it is a new bridge. Obviously there is a canal there. It's my understanding that the airplanes came over the canal and landed West to East on this runway normally. In the mornings after I work out I like to drive up on top of the bridge where there is always a breeze and cool off for a bit. Then it's off to breakfast. Enjoy.

That’s kind of cool.

Was reading an article, they list Saigon as one of the cheapest yet safest places for Americans to retire too.

This is in the city of Vinh Long, about 120 clicks south of Saigon in the Mekong Delta area. This is where I spend most of my time in Vietnam. And I have a house here. And yes, it is very inexpensive to live in Vietnam, even more so in this Southern Small City of Vinh Long. And yes, Vietnam is a very safe country to live in, virtually no crime to speak of.

Oh my. A friend that winters in Az just sent me this . Another friend from the area bought it to resell. Damn!

So hard to fathom considering how violent and nasty that war was.

I don't have any security cameras at my house in Maryland, but it might be a good idea for me to be thinking about doing so, so I can see what's going on when I'm not in America. I have a tenant in the big house so they keep a lookout. Plus, I live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a fairly remote area.
How did your day in court go?

They have long forgotten about that war here in Vietnam. They don't even teach the history to the children. Vietnamese people are very welcoming towards westerners and especially Americans. It's amazing

How did your day in court go?
It's a very slow process here in Vietnam. Basically, I just needed to make an appearance for my case. In the event that I am not here in the future, I have a power of attorney here who is also my friend and my interpreter. Not sure when the next court day will be
