I wonder how long something like that would take to shred a snow blower designed for a 5hp engine?View attachment 1716372084
HF Ghost Says they to compete with the B&S Animal and I think Animals are like 10-12 horse. Only $329.
I have a friend/old customer that buys those to repower pumps, tillers, snow blowers etc. He has had great luck with them and many of the parts interchange with the Honda brand engines.View attachment 1716372084

It may not have a rev limiter on it or it has one set at a more performance minded RPM limit. That was one of the first things to go on that HF I built.I wonder how long something like that would take to shred a snow blower designed for a 5hp engine?
I'm sure I'll need your help on building my idea. The last time I looked HF had a hot rod version of their 200cc industrial motor intended for go karts. I have a HF I built on my race kart that kept the Briggs people at "has he got on there?"
I figured a larger engine would have more torque and not rpm. I envision belts, then pullies and bearings smoking. Maybe I'm wrong? only one way to know is to try it...It may not have a rev limiter on it or it has one set at a more performance minded RPM limit. The Honda Odysey I had long ago was belt drive with clutch and converter behind a 250cc 2stroke. Good reliable system, but heavy.I figured a larger engine would have more torque and not rpm.
