There was a cars and coffee going on this morning here but the focus was exotic cars today. I wasn’t getting out of bed early for that.
Our usual Donut Derelicts meeting was pretty vacant this morning. One eye catcher there was a '70 GOAT, had the OE wheels on it :D Helped make up my mind on a project vision that's been rattlin' around in my head  Can't hardly blame them Derelicts, chilly and overcast out there.

Hmm,,, If they were just a hair too big diameter- they might be able to go in the hole, but maybe by the 5th one be pulled slightly off center to not fit? (if that don't get Karl to show up... LOL)
Shank lugs fit fine without washers. I think we figured it out with the charts Chris sent

I don't think I have ever seen a shank lug nut that didn't use a washer. I sold and installed wheels for years.
Yes, to use those lugs I am supposed to use the washer....................

I do have these short shanks, that are used on the rear wheels with no washers, however the wheel has an inset for each lug

Yes, those are conical. (Cone shaped) . What do the holes in the wheel look like? Do they have a tapered seat?

Strange, they are using the taper on the lug nuts to locate the wheel in the straight shank holes. Those nuts will eat the chrome around the wheel holes.
Maybe I am confusing you. The lugs I posted from Summit are for the rear wheels. No issues on the rear.

The ones I am supposed to use for the front and having issues with the washers are these............

you would need a lot of trailers or numerous trips..............................

"They have fiberglass on both sides of the foam, measuring 1 3/4 inch thick. $300 OBO, for the entire amount. Make offer, take all or some."

If it’s been sitting out getting rained on, it’s not worth crap
