<~~~~ not going to town today. Strawberry Festival at the County Fairgrounds. Fairgrounds right in the middle of town and 2 blocks away from the main north-south thurofair, traffic gets hideous. Them carnival rides in this rain should be a real hoot 
Still working on a deal for my 66. Phone convo this afternoon. I like messaging for keeping track of numbers and such but talking to the buyer on the phone is a big plus.

I don't know for certain, but at one time my buddy Joe had his Santa Maria pits in Costcos all over the country.
I have seen weights fall off, and i have never had an issue. Rolling them around in the blast cabinet, the little spot welds let go. Never, ever has a new drum of any kind had a weight on it out of the box. So, there’s that.

When the oil patch nearby was busy, many BBQ pits got built out of discarded stuff from the oil patch.
chains, sprockets, springs, barrels, etc.
Our regional manager at the rock farm was getting ready to retire and I had an idea, "let's build a BBQ for his retirement gift."
I scrounged our bone yards for anything that would make a rock plant, ready mix plant, asphalt plant themed BBQ .
I kept it hid from the rest of the crew until retirement day. It was a big hit with everybody

Legs on our blackstone fold up, could use it on a tailgate. It sure makes good vittles..
Eggs a little under and busted the yoke flipping, bacon a little over but I'll eat it!

I topped our pug's dog food off with potato and bacon, Pip ate all the good stuff and left the dog food and is now begging me, nope!
