Felt like crap yesterday slept most of the day.
Thats not good, I know you don't need me to give you doctors order's this morning, but could it be an allergy thing, trees popping out buts and doing the spring thing ? Stay hydrated and eat your greens and fruit.

Good Morning. Gotta work on the Wifemobile Journey today. Been thinking it needed a battery for a while now. She ran it Thursday and had bad noise then wouldn't start Pretty sure alternator is toast. Yesterday I put charger on it and then it started right up. Local auto parts has nothing in stock, but have multiple stores within 10 miles so found one at Advance not far away. Its a 140 amp and not sure what the original was. If they tell me I need the 160A its a bit farther...
 
Son's at 8 miles, feel so lazy watching him run this lol! His new wife is here, they stayed with us last night, we're figuring out when we are headed to City Beach (finish line), then taking them both out to El Cazadors, sure he'll be starving!
 
Been messing around with the wheels and tires on the Dart. I put the Hoosiers and slots back on, and those tires are too tall. Way too close to the fender, it would be different if I were only racing it, but street driving, I don't need such a wide, tall tire and have to worry about it cutting on the fender.

I think I am better off with 275 60 15. I have a set on the black wheels for when the car was built and didn't want my slots screwed up while working on the car. So I am thinking get the slots mounted on some 275 60 15's or run the black wheels and slots on the front?

Thoughts?

Cleaned the garage a bit... go the cam bearings out of my block.. went really easily. cept the rear bearing.. it would only come out bout half way then i collapsed it with a screw driver and pulled it out...

Also made up a big batch of Evaporust.... gonna let the rims soak a bit

BTW.. for the guys with converters.. my converter is 3200 stall, 4.30 gears.. in gear like drive/reverse the car barely moves at idle at all.. if i goose it, it jumps.. never had a higher than stock converter before.. not sure how it should feel.. it almost feels like something is hanging, like brakes but they are free...

Something I hadn't realized this morning, it rained last night :wtf: . The Derelicts must have realized it though. All but about 4 of them took the day at the Donut Shop off :rolleyes:.

Black rims look good Scott. Your car you do what you like. My son runs black rims on his duster it looks good. I was thinking of switching to black myself.

That car is sweet with whatever way you go Scott.
 
Slots on the Ranchero. Chrome Smoothies on the F100. White Jackmans on the Yota. Moon Discs on the GMC extended cab. Only ones I haven't changed are the OE 5 spokes on the Express :lol: . Almost fergot, switched the OE steelies on the Swinger to Rallys.

I'm running a 1800 stall as suggested by Blue Print engines.

I'd like a new set of rims on my Scamp but I do like the centerlines OK.
