Evening. Finally got the wheel cylinders for my 78. These things have been near unobtainable

Project 78

I have the HD Camp/towing package, so I have the 12x3 rear drums vs the 11x2.5 standard in the w200s. So I have to have the 1.125 inch bore wheel cylinders instead of the 15/16s. I’ve read 1.0 inch bores would work but I wanted it to match factory perfectly.

Wow, just got off the phone with Joe. Mopar Maxx was a flop and it sounds pretty iffy that the club can pay out all that was promised.

Gulp. So it flopped?
Pretty much. Joe and I dropped out. He was president and I was treasurer. It takes thousands$ to put on that show. Unless you have a thousand attending it will never pay for itself. We left them with thousands in the checkbook and they didn't get any sponsor money. They thought we were going to do that I guess. No Rick, we are out of the club. He ordered $3000 worth of t shirts and only sold a few hundred dollars worth from what we heard. We had discussions for months about not having the event but of course it got voted in. Bad mistake.

That’s a them problem it sounds like

Well I hope My carb kit comes tomorrow. I won't get it until mid afternoon. I might pull the carb and spray it off on the outside and take it apart on Tuesday.

Back home from picking up that 67 GTX. Bit of rust in the floor but trunk is solid, quarters, rockers and fenders all good.
440 and 727 looks good. $1,200 bucks. Sure grip 8 3/4. No interior or glass but title is clear so I think my friend scored good.

The cars and trucks that didn't sell for over $300 are going to the crusher for scrap. and all the parts that didn't sell. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

Hello... Did a bit of long overdue service on my mower today. Straightened and sharpened the blades. Leveled the deck. Even got the lift lever working better. Should have been done a month ago, but I wasn't ready to crawl around on the concrete yet. Still needs an oil change, but need to pick up a filter. I was planning to cut the grass, but it started raining. Might be able to get at it tomorrow morning. I did run a couple passes around the house before it was soaked and it looked like a nice cut. :steering:
You buy filter from the auto parts store? Or mower dealer?
I have been buying mine for the briggs, takes a generic filter. Less than 1/2 for the oe or stens filter.

Buddy was amazed how much the shrinker can do. The one just behind the door would have been really tough to do without. I will get it repaired, but not the bad inner parts. Will do that after the trip.

Good morning everyone. Got the garden in, had a cook out with my Boy, his girlfriend and her parents. Lots in common and hung out. Worked on the Charger a little, got all of the brake lines tight, rear brakes finished assembled, was waiting on parts, and fired up for it short bit. Starting to run better and had 80 psi of oil. I am hoping for a first move/drive this summer.

Good morning, I know the feeling of getting close, congratulations on a good evening, stay safe under the car and enjoy your day

Good Morning All! Back from hiding out in the local Best Western. Don't think that other Realtor wants to take the plunge on this house so now we list. Mitch hope you're feeling better, edit and Willie too!
