How in the WORLD can it be SO difficult to tap on an adjuster hole in a rocker arm to tighten it up? I mean really.

Throw some cold water on it.
I'm bettin Locktite will never hold that application, because of the vertical forces on the adjuster. It's simply not the right thing or the job.Yep, just glue them in.
Well... it's worse now with no spark.
I swapped out the ballast, coil, voltage regulator, ECU, and distributor pick up. Ran tests on everything.

Frustrating no doubt………
Good engine ground. Probably already been asked.
This is the sequenceFrustrating no doubt………
1. Installed new motor
2. Installed transmission
3. Car started, second try
4. Adjusted timing
5. Test drove and had Indication of transmission issues
6. Backed into the garage, put on jack stands
7. Supported motor and removed transmission
8. Installed transmission
9. Relocated starter solenoid about 1" to get some space from the distributor.
Car hasn't started since.
But, apparently it eats rotors...
Hoppy had no input?
No hail, but raining on and off all day.
Distributor touched firewall, supposed to at least pull cap off.
Willie have you tried a new starter relay switch. Plus make sure the ECU has a good ground.
