I do hafta say, they got a great night for their explosive fun, NO FOG! 
For many years we lived about 5 blocks from the County Fairgrounds/launch sight and were lucky most years to see some red and green tinted balls in the fog

I need to go back to the Skagit Speedway, had a blast on Fathers Day, wish I would have seen the dirt cup which was the next weekend but it's all good for me reallyIt's Open Wheel Night at the Speedway!

Happy Fith all yall! We been super busy. Great news on home front our boy got all his retirement from big green done. A couple trips to Iraq, jump master etc etc bottom line he is getting 100% disability. Down side is that his body is actually infantry trashed, no knees left and no shoulders. But he is young and alive with his whole next chapter in front of him.

I have a relative who was a jumper, no knees left, guess not that uncommon. Glad he's getting 100% and a big thanks to him!

I don't pay enough attention to local stuff. Yellow Spring Ruritan had a car show yesterday. Pictures look like it was mostly classics.

Well we are starting to harvest some peppers. I love chili peppers of any kind. But I gotta tell ya I have never mastered the why on jalapeños. Some are mild, some hot, and some are haz mat. We have tried multiple varieties and experimented with water stress etc. there is just no telling how hot they are gonna be. I ate some (one) this morning with Brekkie and it was haz mat. I mean snot running out of your nose, lips numb tounge blistered hot. If any of you guys that garden know a jalapeño grow secret I am all ears. I like them hot but not blister your tounge hot!
Morning fellers and fellet, I see we are in the ditch already but that's normal. Watched fireworks from the deck with the woman that lives here, dogs didn't like it much though.

One of our pugs didn't like them other one didn't mind them except the really loud booms. I'm not taking the day off when the movers come so that might be a mistake but I just don't have that much vacation time saved up right now. The kids come help us on the 12th so I'll be to see where some of it goes, always a fun time lol!
Maybe I should bring you back some seeds for the Vietnamese Version of Hot !!! Those babies will light yur shorts on Fire.......
