Stop in for a cup of coffee

Overall its getting better. Easy to overdo things. Then neck swells up and (what I think is happening) puts pressure onnthr phrenic nerve. That effects your diaphragm. I get this light annoying cough. Strange, but goes hand in hand. 4 weeks since surgery, they said 6 minimum, so, we will see how recovery continues. Thanks Chris!
Slow and easy. Tough to be patient. You have a lot of irons in the fire

The plus side is, while trying to just take it easy, I have driven the demon more in the last 6 weeks than I ever have total I think.

I have a great friend that chats with me a lot so I dont go totally crazy, so that helps more than I can say.

That was one nice thing about the repair of my exploded knee. I had to drive the Swinger to work on a daily basis :D . Leg in brace on the passenger's side .

So does everyone else who has responded it his ad, it seems, as he's a little "touchy" about it.
There’s two things you don’t ever do to a Mopar: put a Cowl hood on it is number 1, number 2 is put any engine other than Mopar in a Mopar.

I better get bookin' I need to run the truck through the wash and pick Ted up at 10:30. I will post some pics later when we get to the brewery.

according to the old DC/MP manual, a straight up windshield, Dart style, a rear facing scoop works well. A sloped, or Barracuda/Duster windshield needs a forward facing scoop. and then they talked about the wind resistance of a forward facing model. how about 442 under bumper scoops. not saying I agree with a cowl scoop on a Mopar, just reporting what I've read. how about an AMX style cowl scoop?

From a couple pages back....

I ordered some lights from Home Depot for the shed/shop on October 1, to replace the ones that I received earlier that were damaged during shipping. Email I received a couple days later said they were shipped, and set to arrive on October 10.

As of Tuesday, the 21st: nada. So I stopped-in on my way home, and that order (the replacement order) was put on a truck....and then promptly lost. No updates, no tracking, nothing.

And of course they didn't call or email me about it....

So they re-ordered them....again....and they're suppose to arrive on 27th....allegedly.

Why is this so damn hard?
sorry, I didn't say good morning before first post, just blurted outloud.:(
we ordered a washer from Home Depot and they called to tell us because of the "hurricane" (this was 5 years ago),
our washer was stuck in Kentucky(?). called Lowes, bingo bango, within three days it was here and installed.

Interesting

But that ‘ Kid’ did the work himself. His dear old dad is Doug AKA- Mobilecustoms, a member here.
I didn't know that, thanks Pete!

I absolutely love Doug's car, and if his "kid" did all of the work on his A-body, I tip my hat to both of them: Doug for "teaching", and The Kid for "learning/doing". Despite my earlier comments, it's really nice see some of the younger "kids" showing an interest in cars, and I sincerely hope I didn't insult either of them too much....

(But an LS in an A-body? C'mon! That's just asking for it! :poke::))

Morning all y’all, today is always a dark day.
Remember Beirut, good thing we weren’t at war.
Semper Fi
The Beirut bombing strikes pretty close to home here, as my brother, Marty, traded Duty that weekend with a buddy of his. He (my brother) survived, but his buddy didn't. If they hadn't traded Duty....

Anyway, Marty is an OTR trucker, and he "climbs within himself" and goes silent every year...

(Wherever you are today, Marty: I love you, brother!)
