Stop in for a cup of coffee

I absolutely love the M1 Garand! One of my all time favorite rifles, probably because a good friend of my fathers used to deer hunt with one up in Warroad, MN when I was a wee (and impressionable) lad, and he would let me shoot it on occasion.

Always meant to buy one, but other priorities keep getting in the way.
They are aprox 1500-2000 dollars today for a decent one.

Back from squirrel hunting, didn’t see nothing today. But you watch, when I’m pouring concrete on Monday, I’ll see dozens

Lasagna for dinner and a salad with lots of Ritz crackers and everything is smothered in garlic and onion.

Dang, that sucks. Just backtracked to figure out what you were in for. You should be feeling a lot better with that opened up.
I had a monitor on a few months ago and they thought they saw something. So Tuesday I was in for a stress test. Happy to say, they reported "no actionable findings' nothing but 'mild arterial plaque' Which is pretty good since I have had high cholesterol most of my life. My last test actually was down to normal for the first time. :)

Considering how long I’ve wanted one, I don’t think price is going to be an issue.

Amazing how emotional purchases work, isn’t it? :)
Toi cung vay ( I agree ).
I am buying a new Yamaha NVX next week. 2026 model. My current is a 2017 NVX. The new models have more power, 155cc variable valve timing. And all the newest gadgets for passenger comfort. GPS mapping and USB ports, etc.
The Yamaha Dealer should have it next week. I'm going over there later today to put a deposit down. I'm excited. Here's a pic. Looks purple in my shitty pic of a phone pic, but is actually matte dark grey with the red accents. Cost is 75 million dong. ( 2800. ) USD. Taxes, tags and registration included. I can't wait !!!
