Never give up. Just like old cars and "I'm going to restore it someday".
About 10-15 years ago a good friend of mine found a really rare bootleg Pink Floyd LP while we are out "scorching the earth" (as he puts it) cruising garage and yard sales looking for vinyl, but despite all my pleading and begging he gave it to his daughter. To this day I still ask him about "my" PF album....

That is perfect!
wasn't a turntable or headphones though. it was Dad's stereo in the basement when they went out shopping one Saturday. I'm glad the windows stayed in place and the neighbors didn't complain. at least none that I ever heard about. BTW, this would be the same stereo dad played John Phillip Sussa marching band records on and the neighbors came out of their houses to see where the parade was.
Happy Birthday! hope the dog didn't chew up the flip-flops too badly...or leave them soggy! have a great warm, sunny day.nope..no snow here.....might be 40s at night a few wks a yr at best....issues yes....that stinkin dog whear are my flip flops.....

PF was the main reason I was into subwoofers before they became a "thing". Taught myself the basics of crossovers and filters, as well.wasn't a turntable or headphones though. it was Dad's stereo in the basement when they went out shopping one Saturday. more than I ever knew. all it has was a bass, treble, and balance dial. and it had tubes! probably just for the radio?PF was the main reason I was into subwoofers before they became a "thing". Taught myself the basic of crossovers and filters, as well.
Good morning!
Nice! but too low to get out of. reminds me of my 280Z, you just roll out. needs a parts stool chair with a back rest...and maybe a seat belt! kinda like "Thank God for the man who put seat belts on bar stools".
When I built my SB Vega (in HS) the neighbor told my Mon I was building a "racecar". She got all upset and talked to Dad. He calmed her down somehow, and told her that it wouldn't be around for long (he was right).maybe it runs in the family. Dad's Dad (died before I was born) worked in the railyard. story is told that Mom was walking down the sidewalk one winter day and Grandad, who is inside with the house closed up, says "who's the pretty lady with the new hat?" well, she heard him a couple doors away. course, now the time I started the dart in the garage (attached to the house and under the bedrooms) sans mufflers, Mom comes downstairs and says I'm rattling her teeth.![]()
Sounds concerning....well, off to cleaning and/or organizing the junk, er, man room. 2000 lbs of stuff in a 10 X 10 room. don't sneeze or lean on anything.
the old Dart had Speed-Pro 13-1 pistons and a Crane 485/504 hyd camshaft. it was all bolt together, no machining other than balancing. but it sounded good thru the old 1-3/4 Hooker headers.when it was used to go to school, my sister would hear it start and tell the other kids at the bus stop I was starting the car. they thought she was nuts. couple minutes later I come around the corner with it .he-heWhen I built my SB Vega (in HS) the neighbor told my Mon I was building a "racecar". Anyway, the first time I fired it up all it had were the old "ram horn" exhaust manifolds, and to my ears it sure sounded sweet! Mom, on the other hand....not so much.
Thanks Jim! I always wonder if I should tie a rope around my waist like the splunkers do but I think it would snag on something and pull a wall of boxes down on top of me.Sounds concerning....
Stay safe, my friend!

It does fit and I was using in my garage.
FRED!! If that fit a Shop. Towel roll, it would be amazing
