Good morning Mike 3 , still here watching posts, have a few folks pushing the rules but I believe I have cleaned them all up, lets get this day started and keep a positive and humble hart as we step into this day.. I am trying :)
you're always going to have people who push the rules... you've read this thread!! LOL

We had a good downpour last night with lots of thunder and lightning...

But we're feeling much better now...

What is all that wet stuff? Haven't seen any of that lately..

That was the third good storm that we had last week. Lots of whiz bangers and good light show with lightning...

Our creek didn't fill up much, so it wasn't too bad... We get a few rains a season where it will fill our creek halfway and make it flow like white water rapids...

you and I run the same gear, 360 backed by a 727 - - no clunking here bud

Clunks are never normal...

Well ****!!!!!!! What next:BangHead:. I do have a slight vibration thru the car when cruising which from past experience is the u-joints. Guess I'll check the u-joints and the rear...

I had a worn out suregrip unit that clunked like you describe..

I rebuilt the suregrip prior to putting it in. Im pretty sure that is not the issue. If I remember correctly also, the lash for the gears was set on the tighter side

better the U's than the rear... does sound like them

When I had my driveshaft balanced I asked about the u-joints. They told me they couldnt balance a drive shaft with bad ujoints so mine were fine. But I've always wondered... When the shaft was out, they didnt feel like they had excessive play, but I'll check them over really good. Thanks guys!
