Stop in for a cup of coffee

Careful, Fred! Based on the prices I’ve seen for cars that have sold online, that’s a bargain when compared to your workmanship, and someone here might just say “Sold”!

(Hmmmmmm. Do you deliver?)

Thanks Jim, Kinda think I'll keep it. Hopping to bring it to MITP in May but might end up being in Washington helping my sister-in-law instead. Lots going on here and not sure :wtf: is going to happen.

If you need (want?) some help on that road trip just give me a shout. I love the scenery on that drive!

Ok, I’ve had two naps today, and the snow has stopped. Time to clear the hills on the driveway (we got MAYBE another half inch or so).

Oh! Chatted with my boss earlier today, and he told me he’s going to pay my full wages while I recuperate, regardless of how much time I actually put-in. Starting tomorrow, as long as I’m open, honest, and communicate about what I can do, he’s going to let work from home. This way: No commute, I can work as much as I’m able, and I can stop if/when I need a break. Best news I’ve had for a week or so!
I think your boss knows you are a good worker and hard to find people that care about their work.

Thanks Fred. Yeah, me as well.

Pinstripe would be cool. Maybe if I take it back to the WW-1 white
The factory color was a pain in the *** to match back in the old days and still today. That wimelton white(if I spelled it right) had over 10 different colors and all named the same paint code. Today is not much different.

I think I matched it with the stuff I did the engine bay with. More a cream color than the bright white

  • The compressor if it runs. Otherwise $150.00
  • The bell probably a reproduction around $100.00
It runs. Built up to 120 PSI before shutting off. Which is probably where the safety switch is set too. Take is rated for 160.

Yeah I figure the bell is a reproduction too but I can’t find any markings on it. If it’s a reproduction, I’m guessing a mid 60-70s

I am no expert but I hear white is one of the hardest colors to match.

Well we just had my first major uh oh Murphy law moment of the house build.

Apparently the Internet company buried my fiber internet line Friday, didn’t mark it, and they must have horizontal bored it cause no witness marks. I hit it with the excavator just now trying to run the conduit under the drive, ironically, for the fiber and electric …. :BangHead: :BangHead:
