Stop in for a cup of coffee

I think I know what to do, but was looking for other opinions/advise.. I have 20 4 bulb units, so 80 tubes. A Guy gave me a trash can full of T8 bulbs from a commercial building a few years ago. So i went in each unit then, and replaced the old style ballasts with a single electronic one. And then of course used the T8 bulbs. Butt they were used and many of them are out now. I have been told that I can use LED tubes that are compatable with those electronic ballasts. Or, I would have to remove all the ballasts and wire them direct, to use the other style of LED tubes ??
not familiar with the new LED tubes that work with the fluorescent ballast. the old magnetic ballasts needed all the bulbs in to work right, but with electronic, you may be able to put 2 bulbs in a 4 bulb fixture. With LEDs, that might still give more light than the 4 fluorescents. Any LEDs I have used are a different looking light, so I would just get a couple and try it...

I do know they have different shades like the fluorescents. I sent you his cell #

Heck.. If It'll work with the existing electronic ballasts, I will replace all 80 bulbs with LED. It'll look like you're standing under the Sun in here !!

for sure - Dave put up what, two bulbs, and MAN what a difference!
Here is what I'm workin with...

Different from mine but very happy with it just do the heater motor mod if you ever plan on taking the pass valve cover off. There is a thread here on it. There headers are great also fit perfect. Not sure with a stick though.

Cool I'll check that out. I've been told there is no place to put the torque strap on the QA1 so I'll have to fab something. Thanks for the input.

It goes to the lower shock hole to the bolt on the side of the motor mount on mine. Still yet to do it. If the mounts are the ones I am thinking like a enclosed spool you do not really need it.
