Morning Memi! Just sitting here writing those dam bills out this morning. Every month the same thing. The wife opened up the insurance bill yesterday and freaked out 2k due in a week. Dam 70 in a 45 the insurance went up! YELLING could be heard for miles. Of coursee I had to add dam firechicken! Upon closer look when I took it from her death grip it was the house insurance that gets paid through the mortgage! LOL
 
Sounds like a good time Karl. I wish my boy was into them, the girl more so.

I got lucky, both of my boys are getting into cars. The oldest one, I've had around them since he was small (like 4 years old). The younger just started getting interested after getting his license and started driving... :D :D :D

The younger kid is now starting to tinker with old vintage mini bikes...

I'm glad that I can spend some time with them showing them how to work on mechanical stuff. I'm not as good with the mini bikes, but use my car experience to help him when I can...
 
I miss those. I had plenty growing up and even through a motor an a bicycle and a 1 1/2 briggs. Ran the crap out of that one. I wrote an article years ago and it was published in Wallnecks. If I can find it I will scan it it is funny.

If your girl is into it more than the boy, go for it, and teach her what she's interested in learning. I think it's cool when girls/women can work on cars also... :D

We have an old picture from when my grandpa was only 14 and put a rotary engine on a sled... It had like a round tire on the outside that spun..

An early 1920's snow mobile...
 
Kind of beat today the Mrs. Honey do list just keeps growing. Started all the seeds for the garden finally. I am trying giant pumpkins and watermelon's just for fun. No Idea what we will do with them but just to see if they grow. Really need to clean up the area where the tree we had removed from to do a little piece of whatever. We left the trunk about 3' high to put stuff on. I could never get the roots out of the stone wall so what the heck.

He was supposed to be here by now. Guess he will do most of it himself, no problem for him to do just needs my welders. I can just drink beer and micro manage him.......LOL
