Good news!!! My half sister has been found safe hiding out in a domestic violence shelter

On an entirely different note, if you're like me and hate buying clothes, and are fed up with the declining durability of jeans, Duluth Trading has the fire hose material jeans on sale right now. They seem expensive at $45 but the ones I have are five years old and still look fine and I wear them all the time.

That is great news Chris. They don't tolerate any drugs, that is a good place for her, I'm praying she encounters the right people to get her life straightened out.

Find you a local farm store and go there, they sell the only jean I know that hold up to work like they're supposed too. Can't think of the brand off the top of my head but they're about 25 bucks a pair

Yeah I guess she's been in there all along. But the shelter by law couldn't tell us and neither could the cops. Which explains why they refused to list her as an official missing person

Sounds like privacy laws going too far. Had a situation before my brother passed. He was moved to a different hospital and had never put me on and taken my deceased father off as his contact person. So they would not tell me where he was. Luckily the hospital they sent him to had my wife as a contact from a previous time he was there, so they called us.
Right now I have one bill left to pay on my fathers estate, but need to prove I am the executer or they won't tell me how much the bill is for. They said if I knew the exact amount they could accept the payment. However the statements stopped when I gave them a death cert and they apparently added charges afterward. So, there is know way I or anyone else could know that number! :wtf: So now a few more weeks till my mail reaches them and gets processed. :BangHead:

yeah, there should be some common sense within privacy laws. Cops should at least be able to say, hey she's safe and in a safe location. But no, they simply said they werent considerig her a missing persons and left it at that

yea - stuck my finger in a hot socket Monday and now feeling some of the heat... been here 30+ years - you think I'd f-in know better.... :BangHead:

ditto  - oh, and his boss and HIS boss... hey, if you're gonna light a fire...!!!
actually yeah..... kind of went off on a coworker for continuing to stick his nose into my business..... like Full Metal Jacket style chew out

mine was a more "indirect" rant/rave... here if you yell AT someone you get your *** in a real sling.. (especially considering the very colorful language I was heard using).. it was one person that set me off.. but be SURE, today would be a lot uglier if I had gone face to face with the assmunchingbitch...

Oh I'm sure I'll get a talking too. But considering he was asked nicely multiple times during my presentation to stop interrupting and making dumb jokes/comments, I think it was warranted.
