Today is the Polar Bear plunge at Chesapeake Beach..Talked to my Son last night. He said the Restaurant is open today, because of the extra business from the plunge....AND... Today is his 35th BIRTHDAY Also...Any of you guys jumping in an ice cold river today?I think some of the 'plunges' are today.

Usually just break open a 'cased' sausage to make it. We have a good meat and produce market that is only open Fridays. My wife asked me to pick up some chipped dried beef for SOS, so stopped on the way home from work the other day. Right aside of the chipped beef was a tub of 'loose' sausage. I thought,'that makes it just too easy' lol

Happy 2017. They do a swim here but temps in the 60s so it doesn't make that much sense. Ooh I'm chilly??
Last night wasn't nearly as bad as we feared, the manager got some temps to help us out, he's a good guy, if not for him the other management would have just let us crash and burn.
