Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thanks for the Birthday wishes. I better hop in the old tool truck and hit the streets. I'll check in later. tmm

Ray, I tried to follow your torx dillemma through the last few pages... Are you saying the head on it is the same as a t-45. If so, could you get a t-45 fastener and double nut it to use as a tool?

I finished the ramp for the creek last week. Here are some of the pictures:

Here's a shot of the creek before the ramp is in place:

Use the truck to get it close to where we want it:

Here it is in place over the creek:

Here's some shots of the heavy rain that we got Saturday. The creek is normally dry with a little standing water, here it is half full of white water.... :glasses7:

It usually only gets this full a few times per season, it did this twice in the last week...
We had some just like it yesterday also. #-o

The creek here keeps the water out of my basement.... :D

See how far it is below the new ramp:

Not a bad idea! I will look for one of those also. This is what I need in a E-9, the day keeps getting better I had to take out the freezer from the laundry room and broke a light switch and then I go to shut off the feed valves and they are frozen, watch it breaks! Oh yeah the floor is rotted behind the washer! I need a few cold ones right about now and a dayworker, Rani can you recommend one to me?
I will even buy some Modella!

I hope your idiot neighbor does not demand an environmental impact study for it! LOL

the brick area around your basketball thingy looks fantastic

from the pics it looks like you live in a pretty sweet habitat

I built it because he complained about the kids riding them on our dead end street. :violent1:

He can't say anything if they keep them on our private property. :banghead:

And I talked to Suzy next door and she doesn't mind if the kids ride in her yard.... :D

So I bet "idiot" doesn't like seeing the ramp, but he's the reason that I had to build it... :finga:

You have to watch what you ask for, sometimes you may not get what you intend.... #-o

Thanks, dad had them done, they are those brick pavers. I don't like them as they settle and become uneven. Some people around here have done driveways with them... :violent1:

But I would hate to try a floor jack on them with all of the cracks.... :banghead:

They look good at first, but are not practical for a driveway. Walkway, maybe, but not a driveway...

Morning, been up for a while doing the laundry room! The joys of home ownership! I have the new washer coming in 5 hours and no way it is going in today, It turned out to have some water damage under the washer and so the tile is coming out, floor repair, might as well paint the room after touching up the sheer rock, but the bright side is Marilyn wanted linoleum in there because 3/4 of it had carpet and she found one she liked at HD. Got to the register and it was on sale, .01 per square yard! So it was eight cents for the room! Plus's 10% off military discount. Picked up the pergo since it was on sale for the other flood project and the Popmobile was loaded! 18 boxes of flooring, lumber, linoleum, sheet 0f sheetrock on the roof (I want a roof rack) all the other crap like sheetrock mud etc. I was lucky not to break a leaf spring! I need a truck! Lucky when I replaced the rear shocks I replaced them with coil overs for the tow package. When I left the house I had no idea that I needed the trailer! I did not even want to stop and get a case of beer it was so heavy! LOL
