its good night for me ..I just got home from work ...I went in last night with the intent to put in like 6 hours to finish a paperwork nitemare project ...6 turned to 8 ...turned to 10 then the time changed ....but I still ended up with a 12 hour night

Be careful they don't gyp you an hour for the time change going back... (charge them an extra hour...)

Speaking of.....my family doesn't know i have a Valiant ....so keep it on the low low.

My dad told me no more cars but everyone knows i am too rebelious to listen.

That is why Mr hoppy is sending the seats to a cousin's house lol

Don't let them hold you back.... You go girl....

Hmm and when is this

The Woodward Dream Cruise

I used tolive less than a half mile from the starting point in Detroit... the first three years, you could do burnouts even in front of the cops and they let it go... My 68 340 Barracuda was a real crowd pleaser - I could spin the tires endlessly until I wanted to stop... :steering:

Not anymore... I once saw a guy spin the tires in a fox body mustang doing the "turnaround left turn" and get pulled over by a cop on a mountain bike - how humiliating is it when a cop on a bike pulls you over.... :BangHead:

My out-laws still live a half mile from the starting point - that's our base of operations during the cruise....

Just stay north of 8 Mile Road and you should be fine... (that's where the cruse officially starts...)

Woodward can get in a bad place south of 7 Mile Road... Mostly by 6 Mile and lower, roll up the windows and don't stop for anybody...

Stick with me and my son, we know the hood over there... My son grew up there...

Once in the suburbs, you should be fine... I know some great places to eat there...

Yea so, i got the clutch pedals!!

Seller even threw in a rod and z bar which i needed.

The car is really coming together like a model kit.

Next on the list after i get the seats here is a woodgrain steering wheel and a set of hub caps

So leave the tank at home?

So leave the tank at home?

Yeah, you'll be fine...

If you want to stay away from the bad areas, just stay north of 8 Mile Road (the dividing line between Detroit and the suburbs).. Some parts of the city of Detroit are pretty rough if you are an outsider....

Too bad the other guy jumped on that 65 wood grain steering wheel before you - it was really nice...
