So whats every ones plans? Mine is mow then we have a leg of Lamb for the meal, not sure if the daughter will be here or not.
I should mow here. Second time around the house. Have not done the back yet. It's all lookin pretty shaggy. LOL. Ham, fresh green beans and smashed taters for dinner. Not expecting any company.

Hoppy, won't every old distributor fail?

Can't recall the last OEM one I had with a serviceable vacuum advance canister.....
Just got a old b dizzy that looked like crap, took it apart and inspected it, and it passed with flying colors actually the vac advance was right on. It is usally the top bushing that goes bad, easy to replace.

Tell you what this machine is really great to see what is going on, that dizzy did actually have point float at RPM but just put a new set in and THEN it was fine.

so I went and dropped off those tires to my SIL yesterday and my BIL took me to the old NAPA store that his boss bought - there is a BOAT load of stuff that they are looking to get rid of - the things that really got my attention though were a couple of distributor rebuild kits (72 and newer) and several choke control units.. all the boxes say MOPAR on them so they are true Ma items - I didn't grab 'em but I am wondering if I should... ??

What I really like about this machine it has a vac pump and gauge built in and you can see if there is a leak.

Tell you the truth Mike any thing in a MOPAR box you should grab even if you have no use for it, some goes for crazy money on fleabay.

I would be interested in dizzy parts if the price is right along with points and condensors if they are mopar or blue streak.
