Stop in for a cup of coffee

Honestly, yes. I personally have always like that look, that and hillborne stacks coming thru the hood. I'm picky when it comes to hood scoops though. Very few do I actually like, especially aftermarket ones

Too bad he didn't give you a Hawaiian honey that you could roll with.... :p

I have a buddy who is a self taught painter - REALLY good at it too. Every now and they they get a fresh out of school newbie... usually ends up with some amazing horror stories.. arrogant, know's it all, won't listen... they often end up getting fired
Paint's so expensive once you tear one up or make a couple re-do's you get busted back to a prepper. They fill them full of amazing stories at school about the money they're going to make and the opportunities. Tv doesn't help. Have to know how metal is going act and move and they just don't get enough experience at school. Every crash is different. I learned that you can learn something from everyone you work with paint or body. The kids are usually already disappointed by the time they get to a body shop after realizing they can't make a living welding in crooked license plates and shaving door handles for their buddies that want it done free. **** I started at 14 sweeping and washing cars after school.

I take the booster off, of course that was the side I was having the leak on also! Now to clean the thing up.

I worked with a couple kids that came out of Lincoln Tech body school.......Hard to tech a kid anything when he thinks he knows everything already. The hands on is limited and they work on "staged" cars on the frame machine so they're kind of lost in the real world. BMW has a really good school in S.C. Been there for some training and they train to I-Car standards.
My high school body class is more hands on than this place, it's pitiful.

so you bought the brackets and the booster or the whole shooting match?
The whole assy at first then after the fire another booster. I have to measure it think it is a 8" I liked the first one better it was a 6" dual diaphragm, looked longer like a big pointy breast.

I went to County Vo tech after high school. Dropped out. I had learned more in 3 months at the age of 14 working in that body shop then I would have there. I was well beyond what they were teaching. But like anything you get out what you put in, and not all dogs are trainable. Like Mike was saying, I have seen some people destroy cars fixing them.

Yeah, some people didn't last long. I used it to get out of normal classes and to have fresh air. It's where the Scamp got painted as a senior project.
