I got the GTS out today for a nice long cruise. Man I love the new look!

Since the little woman is out of town, figured I'd burn some wood, make some hot coals, grill a few steaks.. fry up some taters.. maybe even have a veggie with it to keep things legit!

This day went by fast! Dave your Dart looks really great, I am sure it has people envious when they see you drive by.
Today I used a small roller and a brush and put some black rustoleum to my inner fenders and the part of the undercarriage that shows below the bodywork. Went for a drive too.

Sounds like a good day.. just no black paint under the hood! Black fenderwells matter...

Made turkey burgers for the queen. I grilled up a few tube steaks and baked beans for me.
Just ice tea tonight blood tests in the morning.
 
Today at the supermarket I parked in the far corner of the lot without any cars around and wouldn't you know it when I came out flashy Navigator from PA was not just in the next space but very close to me...still hardly any other cars around. I stood there thinking for a minute and looking to make sure he or she didn't give me a door ding which would have been almost hard not to, I thought of writing a note but I didn't have a pen, so I just spit on their drivers window, I hope they were really grossed out!

Well it seems I've gotten the GTS to closely match the GT that I owned 30 years ago when I first got married. My wife says it looks like I reached into the past and brought the old beast back...

Oh man that's a bummer...sounds painful and very inconvenient...and you are not the lurking type..
 
engine out - torque converter out - flex plate dealt with - everything reinstalled - headers on - starter in (though not wired) - remote oil filter put back on fire wall... doesn't sound like much, but DAMN that was no fun :BangHead: - one of those days when everything fights back..:mad:

pulling the engine out of the parts Jeep, the linkages were hung up. When I got them free, the back of engine, trans, & transfer case smashed my hand on the ground. fRONT MOTOR MOUNTS SUPPORTED THE FRONT...

Lucky only one broken bone....


ALWAYS SUPPORT WITH JACK OR JACK STANDS!!!
