I just put a few things on there. Haven't used it in years, Boy has it changed...... for the worse...... time for another auction site to come to the forefront.... I'm afraid to send anything out without insurance and a direct signature with all the warning about the scams buyers are pulling. i quit years ago after being scammed by a buyer so maybe still gun shy

hour later here, but I was awake around 3:30. Have a smoke detector chirping. I pulled the battery out of the one I thought was doing it...and it still chirps.:BangHead: So then I realize its another one and the sound is projecting. Changed that battery.

Just sold a bunch of stuff for work on there. Probably be getting some of my own things posted soon. It is a lot easier to use than years ago, but the fees add up between ebay and paypal. If you know what $ you want to get, you need to add that in to the price. But that doesn't work if there are others practically giving away the same thing. Most of the stuff I will be putting on, I just want to get rid of, so if I get anything it's better than throwing it out. Some stuff aint worth boxing up and dragging to the post office -might just go out on the curb either for scavengers or trash.

It's easy if you follow right through their self directed process postage and all. My problem is going to usps shipping through them lots of disclaimers on what is insurable. Sure they'll take the extra money for shipping, but excludes some items such as coins... diamonds etc. Regular USPS doesn't have those disclaimers.
 
it's a rare item that I bother putting on ebay these days - typically it's just not worth it. Between the fees and the buyer trying to screw you for every cent they can on shipping, unless the item is worth $40 or more, it just isn't worth it. Like my choke assemblies, they are light, small and worth a good penny, so I will list 'em -- as I didn't get so much as a nibble on here - which really surprised me... maybe I asked too much and/or no one needs them.

Also unloaded a bunch of stuff for work through CL. Was actually surprised..a lot less scammers than last time I tried it a couple years ago. Still a few idiots. Had one that wanted to mail a check and write it for $50 over. Um no, it's cash and carry. No option. Then I was giving away some chairs and I got a response requesting 'text location to a number' No problem. Guy responds back asking where HE is supposed to deliver them ??? :wtf: Somebody F'n with both of us?
