so if I use acrylic enamel without hardener it is safer, but how much better is the finish with it?

It will hold up much better and have better gloss with hardener.

Chris, Getting angry and punishing her will only make things worse. Giving her more closeness, attention and TIME is much more likely to have a positive effect.

Giving her attention will reinforce the bad behavior. She needs to be punished for bad behavior or it will keep going on.

I had a bad temper when I was a kid & had to learn to keep it in control. I got plaster before christmas when I was 4 yo to fix the holes that I put in the wall.
