Everybody used to tell me I was "Special" never did figure out who "Ed" was.
You open up the area where the sand pickup tube is with a dremel, saw it on line works like a champ that is where all the sand builds up at.

I did one more thing to my cabinet, dumped the stupid light in there and put a led flood light in along with a dust collection system (shop vac and a bucket inline with water in it to get the fines out) Love it now. Used to hate the dam thing.

I really need one to clean up smaller parts
I really do not know how I got along without one. I have a whole cleaning process for the distributors, clean, blast, de burr if needed, then tumble and rinse. Takes a bit but looks great when done.
I see good ones on CL on occasion, the one I have Alaska TA had it and asked if we (Tike and I) knew anyone that wanted to buy it for $50 could not get the cash out fast enough. LOL second Time I did that to Tike next deal is his no matter what!
Mitch turned me on to this place TP tools, really like this cabinet for what I do, might have to upgrade one day.
