Well, that sucks. The beach house we had reserved for vacation in August was sold. New owner isn’t doing rentals. We just spent an hour doing a mad search to find something else. It’s hard to get a place to rent this late in the reservation season.

Finally found another place for about the same price. I booked it on the spot. We got lucky, it was just listed a few days ago and 3/4 of August was still open. They will likely be 90% booked for the season by the end of the week.
