Stop in for a cup of coffee

I just noticed it does not have the downshift lever as in the ad, did come with spedo gear and housing though!

Grrrr how careless to ship an expensive product like that so poorly! Now they have a disappointed customer for no reason.

Hey, I actually got my 360 running today! :blob:

I'm waiting for the video to upload from my phone so I can edit it (it's up side down ...) and then post it.

Congrats!!!

That's two engines of FABO members up and running this week!!! :D

Thanks everyone for the kudos on Chuck's engine.

You can't give up and let it beat you, keep at it until you get it figured out... Stubbornness is a virtue...

I wish he posted the video from yesterday's run, as it is much smoother and crisper throttle response after setting the reluctor gap. Night and day difference...

Think I should keep it and take a chance or send it back and wait a long time for another one?

Send it back. After spending that much money, it's not worth risking running it and having a problem at your risk...

That's f'ed up that they would package it so poorly.... :finga:

Thanks. Well, up and running is a stretch. It doesn't idle. At all. I'll try to post a video and see if I can get any helpful ideas, I have no idea what to change first, carb, timing, whatnot?

Sounds to me like no fuel pressure. Hook the line from your little tank to the fuel pump.

Should keep running then. I am sure you will have to adjust the carb and timing. After a few minutes when it warms up hook up the regular tank line it should feed then as long as there are no holes in it.

Here's the video from yesterday. Notice how much smoother it idles.

the flashing on the #3 spark plug wire is a spark checker.

I thought it was a flux capacitor! I want one for the pop! Guess I was dreaming.

Blessed Sunday to all!

Happy for you Anders! We had our Mopar Owners get together yesterday, great meeting all the guys and cars. We have 72 members from all over SA, with 217 Mopars between them.
See the thread in Events?

Ters.

That's fantastic, Ters! I'll check the thread for pictures.

I'm not sure I'll hook up the tank just yet. I need to clean it out first.

Chuck (Sedanman) got a video of it today and posted it on youtube.

This is yesterday while we were breaking in the cam and checking total timing. Here it is...

Banged up in shipping not really bad no plugs or covers, look at the trans fill hole, lokey there a starter stud! I am just worried if I put it in and have a problem it will not be covered. I shot them pics prob get the reply Monday. Dam with the price why ship it like that! Oh the delivery was fun a post yesterday about it.

Hali : Send those pictures to the freight shipper ,the original vender,( if paid with a credit card..) this ,as well.. I wouldn't install it,I absolutely would wait ... That credit card company, could put" their own" hold payment,on the transaction.. If you are unhappy with it, let them make it right...You paid for a secure product, accept nothing less..)...

Not the shippers fault at all it was the packaging from the rebuilder. I am so glad I put it on paypal! Just found on it yesterday when I was calm looking it over the rear transmission line fitting is sheared off with paint over it. How do you "fully test" each unit then? So pissed off really wanted to go for one more ride this year, guess not. Just got some more things to do like put in the sure grip and gears so good time to do it. See what their response is Monday, If not I will initiate the return process through e bay. I expected so much more from Jegs. They need to find a new rebuilder.
