Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning all. It sounds like quite a few of us have pets that get us up every morning. Me too. Our cat walks laps around me in bed and then purrs in my ear or licks my forehead to wake me up. What the heck, it's time for me to get up anyway. LOL Have a great start to your week. tmm

Thank god it's Monday! No I'm not sick. After sitting in a apartment watching tv all weekend it feels good to get up and go fix some stuff. Plus this weekend I'm not on call and get to head out of the city and back to the country to work on the dart and help my old man button up his new motor in his mustang.

Take it easy fellas!

Ours sleeps in the puppy pen. We've had her a month and a half and I can say she has never woken me up. I do try to get her out early though.
- Better than dealing with the consequences.

Woke up this morning to a cold house. Went to check the thermostat and it's dark. No readout, no back light, no operation, no nothing!

5 cups so far. Luckily it's not that cold out right now.

No power to the house or just the thermostat?

Windy and pouring rain here. We need the rain really bad for our drought but not all at one time. Snow level is 8000'. It needs to cool way off and get thet down to half that to build a lot of snow pack or we're in the same boat as the past few years.

Passenger was a no-show today...nothing to do in the office, I think I'll take some time and go home to finish the taxes...and drink more coffee...

MAN IT IS SLIPPERY OUT! I just went up to my buddy to make sure he was ok after the heart attack scare and almost went over a small bluff when I made a turn in his driveway. Any packed snow that was on the ground it is so slick with the rain on it, worse than oil on Teflon!

I had a service call last week for no heat. Went in there and had four wires fried. I didn't realize it but when I was stripping one of then it came unplugged it the very back. I worked on it for two hours until it was 11 at night and finally got the lady a space heater. Went back the next morning and had it running in 5 minutes.

Taught me to slow down and be careful when your frustrated.

wow ...seems like the east coast is having turbulent weather.

Over here its been very spring like ....reached 82 on Saturday and 80 yesterday and I think its supposed be 74 today.

Then rain is expected this week .....yup I said it RAIN.....NOT snow LOL

So it looks like I will have some Rani days this week :joker:

Colorado seems to be having a pretty warm winter so far.

I know its not good but I am actually enjoying it. It makes it easier to work on cars outside.

I went to the river on yesterday and its so beautiful ....I am so getting a fishing license soon :)

I am not sure what I can catch and eat but one way to find out.

Sounds like good advice.

Presently I'm waiting for a new thermostat. The system is dual fuel and no one in town seems to have a dual fuel, 7 day stat.
I'm told there is one up around Atlanta some place, and the installer should be here some time this evening.

I think he said the replacement is a Honeywell 6000 series. The old one is a Lennox Signature-stat. Don't know the model number.

That's a bummer. All of our properties are electric only so it's much easier to work on and get parts!
