I hope the snow melts and lets the ground warm up around your crop today, I drove the ramcharger down the drive way yesterday so the tracks will let it melt a bit quicker, but my ramcharger is parked about 80 yards away now. Melt Snow Melt !!
That is what I am thinking just get some stuff starting to defrost out there. I have a lot of requests for rhizomes already and cannot get to them until the top 6" of soil defrost. I have not been out there since Oct and need to see what is going on. I will probably get some lime and put it on the snow.
What about rolling black plastic between each row and let that help heat the ground Hops ?
I really do not want to roll out 1000' of plastic. Once the ground is exposed it will go quickly.

Well the repair man just left. Motor replaced. I see Karl had posted about G E products.
This is a three year old G E it has a balance sensor. At first I figured that was the problem and followed the instructions to reset. Hoped it was that simple.
Not to bad though three bills total still cheaper then replacing it.

This is not something we see here in Arkansas much, we should be in the 60es for the norm, Heck I am holding up fine
