the new laptops are amazing ...they have touchscreens and a lot of cool features .....I have an older laptop that I got attached to because someone I like gave it to me but its getting old now and I was going to upgrade the O/S but the cost and work of that is dictating that I seek replacement for the whole unit.
but I was looking at new ones too. I like the custom order ones so I can get a webcam delete and get rid of some the foo foo I don't use.
My son used to build them. His work doesn't allow the time anymore.
On a side note. Sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning what I can only describe as a mechanical device appeared on the property. Slightly bigger then a shoe box it bores into the ground, seems to be analyzing soil and perhaps air? Unusual markings. No idea where it came from. It's like it just dropped out of the sky. Tried taking a few pics but when I do it just reflects back a glare, or a blurey out of focus image.
When did you ever have any class?
Oh no tornado warnings in PA What the heck it is unusual! Maybe if I park the firechicken next to the RV it will be gone when I wake up.

I did an over-nighter last Tuesday, and am almost getting caught up on the missed sleep.... :banghead:
I learned something yesterday at the tire shop. Now when they do an alignment they match the front wheels to the rear. I asked the older guy (who was doing my car training the young guys) what the sensors on the back tires were for and he explained it to me. Ever see a kid put on a 10lb wire hubcap? It is comical.
I hate getting old things like sleep are different, the only good thing is I hear old doesn't last long!
I don't want to talk about alignments.
I have some "5 year" alignments for some of my daily drivers. However, I bring them to a shop and they say my front ends are fine, then when I bring it to the "alignment shop/NTB" they try to tell me that I need $1200 - $1500 in suspension work before they can align it.
So I take it to "my guy" and he does the work for 1/3 of what they quoted me and then have them align it...
I'm getting sick of wasting my time going back and forth. I'm considering having them show me the "needed work" while I video it. Bring 3-4 cars in for alignments and get the "song and dance" well documented, then go public and blow the lid off of their scam...
They don't want to do the "free-bee" alignment. They try to pump up the bill to take your money. If they don't want to do the 5 year alignments, they shouldn't sell them....
Or live fast and hard, die young and leave a good looking corpse.... :farao:
