Stop in for a cup of coffee

-

Went over me just a lot of rain and lightning. Had some possible hail around 9 the metal roof was loud.

So whatcha going to do with the Duster?

Me? I pulled the k and suspension and been working on the firewall. Rust at the bottom above the floor. I think this car had amp guage fail because the previous owner had multiple hot leads running through multiple holes in the firewall. Chiseled. Some I was able to hammer/ dolly closed some had to weld in patches. Spent most of yesterday sitting on creeper stool inside engine compartment lol. Got the k welded up and box reinforcing done. More of the same today.

Here ya go Ray. Shot him this morning at 6:30. He came right into my decoys after I called for a few minutes. Beard is 10in , spurs are 1 1/4. Yum Yum

I just have a few small things to do. Get the rear sail panels in, and figure out where the gauges are going to go. Above the hump is a no go because of the CB and radio. I like the just dash idea of having them in the dash pad itself but it is 4-600 and your old dashpad and a 16-18 week turnaround so that is out. I might have to drill into the dash for them in some sort of pod.

Dam Mitch nice Jake. You know I have been on this thing since you left to go to the farm, get set up shoot one and drive home have another cup of coffee and it is now. I must be an addict! Is that your MORNER!

If you want to experiment, I think I still have my beat-up original pad from the Duster somewhere.... (Or if you decide to break out the big bucks and need a core)

Congratulations Mitch :blob:! Nice Bird for sure :color::color:

Thanks Mike. I already breasted him out and put it in the crock pot. Cut off his beard and his spurs, and a few feathers to make a trophy with. Was a GREAT morning.
