Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am glad I never watched these two guy's, or that would not have made me laugh out loud this morning Karl :D:D

The background behind that clip is that Beavis and Butthead were in a car accident, so Beavis is trying to fake an injury so they can get money.

He doesn't know where his liver is and first grabs his heart and says, "My liver..", then Butthead corrects him that his liver is lower, then Beavis grabs his nuts and says, "My liver.."

No there is a MD somewhere where the teens have to have an adult to enter it because of the problems, was on the news this morning.

Oh I watched you video you posted :D lmao.

Any one ever have a driveshaft made? If so what does it run? I think I can shorten mine but really do not know yet.

There used to be a good drive shaft shop not far from me. The finally closed up a year ago. I used to have them shorten some shafts and balance some. I do hear that their other store is in Baltimore though. If you want to go there !! b LOL

There's gonna be some drama at the high school today...

When big brother was in Detroit a couple of weeks ago, little brother drive his Shelby Mustang to school once or twice... (with big bro's permission).

One of the days, the younger brother "raced" another kid in a VW (can't remember which model - but the kid thinks it's fast.) Younger brother isn't really experienced with the car and the kid took the jump on him. Little brother was smart enough not to push the car to its limits just to win a race and backed off when it started to get too much for him. (It's alot of car to handle)

Well I told younger brother to admit to the kid that he can't drive the car right, and if he really thinks that he can win, let big brother drive as he can handle the Shelby (I don't call him Speed Racer for nothing).

Big brother is back from Detroit now. Well it just happened that the boys were out in the Shelby with a friend last night while I was at class. The kid in the VW was in the left turn lane in front of them at a light...

The green arrow lit up and the VW turned and went to the outside (rt) lane. The boys took the inside (lt) lane and pulled aside the VW. The VW gunned it, then the boys came from behind and shot right past him.

Of course they video'ed it and posted it on their face book. Within two hours there were over 50 replies, including the kid who lost still claiming that he can beat the Shelby.

So now their friends are bickering about it.

I just told my son to tell "VW boy" if he thinks that he can beat the Shelby, come back and race again. Bring more friends this time so they can watch you loose and catch the video themselves...

What does it roughly run? Only two things I really need for the 440 to go in Rad hosed ( I am thinking about those ss ones that are 48" universal cut to fit and the driveshaft. Just want to make sure I have the cash for it before I pull the trigger. Once the ds mount is cut I am committed.

Many moons ago, $80.00 to shorten one about 12 years ago :coffee2:

I was thinking 3-500. Guess not. That is good news. Have to find a place around here. Oh yeah I will need the large pinion yoke also so three parts.

At that price you can have one built I believe Ray Sr. :coffee2: shortening one is much cheaper

I figure it will take a week of 8 hour days to pull the 6, cut the mounts, put the gears in drop the motor/trans/rad in with the Schumacher kit and hope like hell there are no real issues. 2 years the way I do things lately. I am amazed the pop mobile drives as good as it does. The brakes are awesome now!

The guy across the road has a bunch of Chrysler b body ones in a pile I have the pick of. Saves the *** pain of the bigger u joints on the shaft for me. Prob can just shorten one.

I had one build from scratch 30 years ago for $250... I told them the measurement, and they made it up shaft, u-joints, yoke and all balanced and painted in one day. Don't know about now...

I was going to bring them one to shorten, but they said that they could just build a new one.

Look for a truck shop for shortening drive shafts. There are still a few around here that do it. Keep in mind that 4x4's have drive shafts that need servicing, look for one of those kind of shops near you...

I googled them and also the financial guy I have used to work at a place not that far. Might go that rout. I had no idea of the prices.

That's good to know.
