Stop in for a cup of coffee

hello ....rained all night and today is a sunny warm up day in the forecast and it looks like we are done with the rain now for who knows how long

They are mostly face value and still good for postage.
Now if the stamps were from the 1850s that might be a very different story...

I know they are worth just a bit more than face value, but they were 10 for a lot of them mostly in blocks and USPS issued sets. Just kind of cool.

Your young enough to start over Rainy :glasses7: if you wanted to :)

I streamlined to one addiction ....I mean hobby .....all I want to do is car stuff. I got rid of just about everything else. I had a model rail road setup long time ago that I sold and used the money to put a 4 speed in my second dart. I had some high dollar collector barbies that on ebay (only kept one or two) to put a 440 in my 72 swinger. So I have decided one thing only.

Hobbies are like fan belts ....the more you have the more power you rob from your time and finances.

So true, I have taken up Dutch oven outdoor cooking and building an outdoor kitchen this year and looking forward to learning more. :glasses7:

it rained all weekend here so I didn't get much done....watched a few movies like "over the hedge" great movie.

Mothers day was kinda boring......My mom wanted to watch some old western movies so I am glad she got to do what she wanted but OMG her movie selection is BOOOOOOOORRRRING!!!

Then a lot of people were wishing me happy mothers day .......I don't have any kids!!!!! so that felt kinda strange. :???:

I am having a hard time getting motivated on my car this spring. I would like to take it to Farmington in a couple of weeks but I need to work on it a bit first.

I got dual slammed yesterday mothers day and Chris turned 21. We just hung around and cooked some ribs up. I wanted to bring them to Hooters moms ate free and he could have a drink! Sounded like a good idea to me at the time but not a good suggestion LOL!

Morning to you. Any new progress on the GTS?

Sorry to say, no. I'm on the honey doo list. I've been rehabing my deck . Now in year two. Should be able to finish it this week. Also switching out an HVAC system in my house this week. All I need to do with the GTS is roll it outside and sand out the engine bay so I can paint it. Drivetrain and suspension parts are ready.

Stopped at pro bass the other day to get some sandles and checked out the empty ammo section! Crazy what they were asking for .22's 38 for 500! Cheapos also.

if I am reading your fender tag correctly...it was built on Dec 28, 1967

if that is so then I am surprised you got the little air cleaner instead of the really big 67 type.

Just bought 1500 rds of assorted ammo from Sportsmans Guide, online, yesterday. Awesome price and selection.

I understand Mike, I was moving along good this winter but seems yard work, family stuff keeps me busy, I hope it all evens out soon, I put my fender replacement and disk brakes on hold till I get back from Farmington to enjoy some time with FISHYPETE and 66340SEDAN and all the members that is going to be there  You are going aren't you ?

Thats correct. And get this... The Engine was assembled only 2 days earlier on Dec 26. I found a rare nose cone for it in perfect shape. So since I can call it an early car, I am going to use it.

Dang ...I shouldn't have wasted two round on Mr. Raccoon :D

I need to go to a sporting good place soon to check out fishing stuff and get a license......and ask a ton of questions about fishing.

I doubt my Scooby doo fishing rod is going to cut it. :???:

Do they have 38/357 shotshells? I need a box or two for the water snakes. I have 22 ones but they only work in the bolt action not the bereetta they jam really bad when the crimp opens and the rifle is a pain while working out there. I have neighbors in that direction so the 16 ga is out of the question unless I load some low power shells (that's all I reload 16 ga since it has always been hard to find)
