I put all 7 I caught right back in, the males are working hard for the mama's that are about to spawn, then after spawn the females will help the males watch over the beds and fight off any threats :D I will go back to my Mother in laws pond and see how big the females are getting, I may have to thin them out some :D
 
Well kids. time for me to hit the road. It's windy today and I'm not looking forward to my drive today. It just adds to my aches and pains trying to keep the old truck on the road in the wind. I might need to have a toddy when I get home! LOL Have a good day you-all.

I collected as a kid and got back into it about 15 years ago. Just US singles. I do have a lot of the small sheets where all the stamps are different. I'd rather get one good stamp than tie up the same money in a sheet of the same stamp. Not bothering with new stuff much for same reason. With price of a stamp now, I'm not buying every pretty picture the USPS feels like printing knowing that stuff from the 40's can still be had at face. When I can afford it, I'm looking for the very early ones. I really haven't added much to my collection since I got the Duster. Any yes the money I have in stamps would easily buy another car, but I enjoy both.

More rain... four straight days...

My lawn is getting pretty long, but I need it to dry out so I can cut it soon....

I went to Minnesota twice.

Once to look at my truck...

Then went back to pick it up a few days later... (Get the pun - "Pick-up" my truck... LOL!) :D

The town I picked my truck up had a motto of Corn Capitol of the country (or close to that).... It was surrounded by corn fields. About 1 1/2 hours south and west of St. Paul....

Been attempting sleep in the wifes Dodge Journey in the parking lot of the Elk Reg Healh Cntr, St Marys PA. FIL in ICU unresponsive since Friday and the stepmonster did not call anyone. My wife and one of her brothers spent most of night up in waiting room. My son and the dog are also in the car. Was a 4 hour plus drive up last night. Then i started toward Pittsburg to get her sis who flew up from FL, only to find out an hour into the trip she missed connecting from Philly. Getting her Dad transfered to another hospital in a few hours.
 
Are there two different a body spedo cables? The one I got from rock auto the trans end is to small. The oem one had a 1" nut on it and the replacement a small round type nut on the feral. Never knew it if there is. Where do you get the one with the nut? I cannot seem to find one. Thank god for duct tape for now! Spedo works great otherwise.
 
I am going to look today but the 727 also has the same size! No idea if they made two different ones. The housing was bad inside and I cut it halfway to look and it is worn badly.
 
That charger one of my neighbors has is also the original paint! What a car one owner, 67 Rt 440 4spd blue/white inside great shape he says 200k on it and I believe it. Never would have thought he was a car guy but he knows his car!

Right it was hard enough to get us together for this. Should be back by noon or so, leaving at 8. The next hurdle is what to take, the jeep, the Lincoln 787 luxury liner or the pop! I don't care we are not buying fenders, but a hood to play with the scoop idea might not be out of the equation! LOL
 
I almost have the cup holder done for the car. The popphone will not let me have the room for the hump style ones to fit so I cut the old one down to hold 2 cups!

When I cut it it became sloppy (weak) Filled the back with spray foam and #4 shot for weight, fiberglass over it then bondo. In the final smoothing out now. Weighs prob 6 lbs! I don't think it will fall over since it is around 5 in width and straddles the hump by the seat. Might put some male Velcro on the bottom to grab the carpet. Pain in the *** not having one for the coffee!
 
Sounds like a rough one for Keith and his sister, I am lucky my mother in law is awesome and took care of my dad till the end.
