Throwing things at usually works. Can you grind down the shoulder of a cheap socket?

Ben there drank that, I need the socket or a pneumatic hammer to throw. Kind of strange to run into this, I really want the gears, 3.73

I tried it with a bursogarage down torch, it is tight and cant grab it with anything

I think a ride to sears, grainger, part stores and my last resort harbor freight.

Good morning guys. Overslept a bit, so I'm a little later than usual getting to work. Better get on the floor and see what they broke for me. LOL. I'll check back later...

HBD TMM!

All the e sockets set I see on line skip 9 like my neighbors too, just looked at h/f site and the same. Wake up birthday boy!

Worked on some trim/band boards on the deck rehab yesterday. I started early (9am) to try and beat the heat. Had to quit by 1pm.

Just found this on a jeep forum.

Hi all,

I am attempting to remove the star head bolts from the bracket that hold the u-joint to the drive shaft; however, I cannot find an e9 torx socket. Anybody run into this problem or know where I can obtain an E9 torx socket. I have only been able to find E8 and E10.
