Page 714. That used to be a favorite number of mine..

I want to thank you for bringing back some memories I hadn't thought about for a long time!

Around 1980 I worked in a restaurant owned by a local musician/entertainer. After 11 pm we stopped serving food and just served cocktails, and that's when the staff's mood changed!

Rudy Rosa (google) was a real showman. He played the organ and accordion. His lovely wife Sue sang sometimes, her signature song was "Dream a Little Dream of Me." They were very good to the staff, maybe too trusting...word had it the restaurant manager and his girlfriend/bartender skimmed profits, because before too long, the restaurant closed down.

But for a while it was a real happening place!

Afternoon, folks!

Back home now. Daylight waning ... I hate this stupid daylight savings crap.

Clock changing drives me crazy. Yesterday was the towns fall festival. They close the main road thru town, have a decent car show. Usually around three hundred plus cars. Then the night time fireworks, That they fire from a private school lot behind my property. I have nice seats for the show since everything goes off right over my house. Problem is all the mess that drops on my property from the un burnt explosives. Just called the township fire dept. inspector is on the way to go over the damage. It's an every year thing.

Just finished blowing and collecting the leaves in the back...

Now the soreness is setting in... Maybe time for some alieve...

Last night at work I found myself sounding like a commercial for Aleve! We've been moving a restaurant full of heavy tables and chairs around the last two days. I took one pill before the shift and I could feel the difference. My young coworkers have no idea what's in store for them in a few years!

I think I know about where your at now... I don't live there. Have been out about every 2 to 3 weeks since my Dad passed. Fixing his place up a bit before I try to sell it.

Good morning! Kids up at 6:15 today thanks to re-setting clocks ... And they don't have school this week. Good thing there's coffee.

Sorry to hear that. If you need a hand let me know. Its only about 30 minutes up the road.

It's a mobile home. Some interior stuff yet, but need my sister to clear out and she has not found a place yet. Biggest thing left is the roof is shot. I may try to tackle that in a couple weeks. A guy I work with said he could come out for a weekend...

A mobile home with a flat tire is just a home.... #-o

(It's no longer mobile....)

I'm guessing the tires are long gone. I'll need to pull some skirting off and get a look under it. (Still talking about the trailer Karl, lol) I am guessing its up on cinder blocks, but not sure. No tongue on it.

First cup half gone folks:coffee2: this weekend was just a blur :glasses7: let's have a good week please

Mornin', peeps!

Went crazy on our plum tree. We are tired of having hundreds of pounds of plums dropping into the lawn from branches so high we have no chance of picking any of them so I cut it down a good ten feet.

Now to take care of all the branches ...

BUT! I got not one but two packages in the mail today! Will be going to pick them up nnnnnnnnnow!

Ugh that is wrong!

Morning!

Good morning Ray Sr. my weekend was busy to say the least if you ask me :glasses7: older brother had 5 stint's put in and one was in what they call the widow maker, he is doing good and at home, on the bright side ! I do have 4 cat fish (2 ta 4 lbs each and 5 croppie, 3 bass and deer meet in the freezer..

Sorry to hear that, always good to stock up. I have just found out yesterday a rear caliper of an Exploder is the same as a jeep! Ron broke a bleader than an easyout and brought it down and I looked at it and pulled a jeep one out and it is the same just a larger hole piston! Rebuilt it and away he goes!

Sorry to hear about your brother Mike, hope he does well...

This is the first day my right arm doesn't hurt. It's been bothering me for months now since spring. Was real bad yesterday after cleaning up leaves from 9 AM till 4 PM...

I just realized the other day that the pain in my arm is where I habitually lean on my arm rest in my Buick daily driver... So I put the arm rest up yesterday because I catch myself "propping" me with my arm as I drive, sometimes I put lots of pressure on it (due to stress from other drivers being stupid...)...

Last night the pain was awful, I took some alieve. Now the pain is all gone this morning...

I have to stop leaning on it so hard when I drive....

Here I've been thinking that I may be getting arthritis or gout or something, it's just a subliminal wedging myself in the car when I drive....
