Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just go out and start looking at the car... #-o

You will then see what needs to be done, then start "picking" at it. Do one thing, then another... Until you start to make some progress and keep going.... :violent1:

(It may help to make "vroom vroom" sounds like when you were a kid playing with hot wheels to help get into it.... The difference between men and boys is the size/price of their toys... ) :burnout:

I used to do that but the old lady was going to have me committed for making classic chrysler starter sounds when the engine isn't even sitting in it!

18k nice! Have always enjoyed reading this thread. Puts a little personality with the names.

Lol, one of mine does the same, carry on at 3 am to go out and chase a rabbit. I dont know how they know but everytime he does there is something in the yard. Dont know if I could deal with coyotes though

I think they have great eyesight. :glasses7:

I've noticed that my dog can see the coyotes on the edge of our property at night from our front porch when I can't see ****... Just dark... :glasses7:

But he sees them alright.... I wonder if they have some sort of night vision... :glasses7:

Hello Memike.

I gotta get going. I just got a call from John (Doug's father-in-law) and he's at the house, so I'm on for helping him put the trim/moldings on the walls. We'll see how far we can get...

I think that we can finish all the rooms with the tile today. The three bedrooms haven't gotten carpet yet, but soon....

So I'll catch you all later....

Do we have "Share your choice of handle" thread on the Forum? Why you decided on it. We have/had one on a forum I'm admin on....great fun!

My Monaco's brakes are sorted. New kit in the mc, forgot to replace the residual pressure valves....had to strip off again. ABS quality stopping power from the large drums now!:D

Later guys/girls.

Ters.

Just got back from Doug's. We got most of the trim work done, the stuff left has to wait for a couple of door frames to get trimmed first in the family room... We got it fitting nice and tight...

Glad that you got it figured out and fixed...

Good morning all!:coffee2:

Very happy the C is stopping too! Next "brakes" project is my Charger/Demon.... I can't stand to see the old girl parked. I bought new kits for all 4 corners of her brakes, will start cleaning and assembling today. Short weekend....car show on Saturday.

Should I start a "Why you chose your Forum name?" thread?

Ters.

I did a thread about how everyone chose their forum names years ago ....probably time for an updated version.

Back then I used to be "Ranidart70" that is still my forum name on FBBO. I change to rainy day auto on march 27 2015

Yes Rani....my home language is Afrikaans. South Africa is predominantly Afrikaans speaking.

Ters.

I heard someone speaking Afrikaans and I thought it was German at first because Dankie .....like Danke

I don't know either language ....just fragments here and there ....enough to get me into trouble LOL

Lol! Afrikaans is a conglomeration of Dutch, German, English etc. Dankie is thank you...baie dankie is thank you very much! Greeting in the morning would be "goeie more"...meaning good morning. Coffee in Afrikaans is koffie...

You can realize the English/German/Dutch influence in most words.

Ters.

Next Afrikaans lesson later?! Lol!

God morgon!

That was good morning in Swedish. Our language is related to German with a large influence from English in the last few hundred years.

I seem to recall that there are twenty different languages spoken in SA, is that about right, Ters?

Only 11 official languages Anders... thanks goodness! Lol! Sure it will be close to 20 if different dialects are considered though...

Lekker dag! >> meaning have a nice day!

Ters.

Good morning,
Other than English, we have a lot of Spanish and many others in lesser amounts. However, sometimes I have wonder if people are speaking English or something else or made up their own language, LOL. Around here we have 'PA Dutch'. Then there are the accents - Jersey, New York, Boston, city, country, southern...

Hello all...

My son found it interesting here because in the high school halls, he can hear many different languages from all of the different ethnic backgrounds; Spanish, Arabic, Polish, etc....

There are lots of people around here who still speak their "home" language...

Good morning everyone, I learned a few things this morning Thank you 360DartGT66 and
Ters for the lesson

I have to chuckle when my wifes family is experiencing a foreign language, and some one begins speaking English. They always say " Look, They're speaking American ".
In their defense, they are all from Southern Maryland though

I saw a Ramcharger yesterday, it reminded me of Memike because he has the 85 Ramcharger.

But this one had a "custom" paint job???? Two tone tan with brown on the sides, with a black hood and light metallic blue tailgate.... (4-tone paint job???)

But had a very solid body with no rust....

We don't see very many Ramchargers up here as they have all rusted away from all of our snow and salt.... That's why it caught my eye while passing through the light that I was stopped at....

But with some fresh paint, that Ramcharger would be a very nice ride....
